Roger Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 As I said below... Pressure doesn't make diamonds, idiots do. Stop it Nigel. He has done a lot of good things but seriosuly nigel you are not bloody mourinho. Stop mucking around. Stephens sounded gash. We have been lucky a few times, lucky to win sat and lucky to draw at charlton. People saying we dont miss morgan but weve been fortunate recently and our centre mid is poor. A lot of these players arent good enough for a higher level imo.

Stu Man Do Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 Diamond formation messed us up again although only via radio it sounded like they just played around us far too easily. Hopefully he will bin it off now until he has his first choice players to play it! Disappointing evening you could just tell it wasn't going to be our evening when Forte decides to shoot from 20 yrds rather than keep running it in for the easier finish (going on the taters viewpoint!). Onwards and upwards for Saturday!
Roger Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 Bring on the wrist slitting. After losing to a team with 3,800 attendance at this stage of the season I think its certainly partially justified.

A lot of these players arent good enough for a higher level imo. From what I could gather the fullbacks were once again exposed without having someone in front of them... worse still, we played a diamond on a WIDE pitch :-/ Thirdly, it just seems as if there is no cohesive shape and everyone just floats around where they want, bumping into eachother.. Cascadia Saint Posted 12 April, 2011 Share Posted 12 April, 2011 If we had salvaged a draw then people would be a lot happier, but all it would've meant is +1 point and +2 on the GD. If we weren't going to win then a loss isn't much worse than a draw. It obviously all comes down to our reaction on Saturday, but there is no reason we can't still do this. We are 2nd with a game in hand, that's a fact. COYS!
