I really don't see us struggling next year. There are far weaker teams than us next season

Might be a stupid question but who decides on the fixtures and what is the decision based on? Is the list created around any kind of logic in terms of difficulty of opposition or travelling distance?!

 

Or is it just random like cup draws...

 

Considering the "festive" fixtures, boxing day etc..... things seem a little too co-ordinated to be random, but I doubt there is any true logic there, it is the football league after all.

It isn't random at all. A huge number of factors are taken into consideration and consultation with the clubs, as explained in this article...

Why would it be different from what the fixture list says? Surely the point of fixtures is to tell the truth?...

 

I think it's one of those annoying technical things where they have to announce the original date...they can't just use common sense and arrange a "safe" kick off time from the start of the season.
