Can't be the manager's office, unless he's just cleared it out?

No Scotch, no sheepskin coat hanging up, no packet of Marlboro - must be a cleaning cupboard...

Good point, clearly an early indication that Adkins is indeed just working his notice. Cleared his desk already

Credit where it's due, we slammed the committee for th transfers in the summer so it's only right we praise them for this.

Absolutely. Good job by the club to ensure he signed a long term contract. Not everyone slammed the committee's transfers in the summer by the way.

Great news he's done really well this season and deserves to be rewarded, also as has been said it pushes his transfer value up which eventhough I don't want him sold is a much better situation to be in than Arsenal keep managing with their top players.

Really keen to see the club tie Shaw to a new deal as well and I guess now he's playing regularly in the first team both parties will be keen to sort out his future.

I fully expect them both to move on in the future as that is the nature of football but hopefully we will see more of them in a saints shirt than we managed with Walcott, Bale and Oxo.

Going to get slated for this but he looks fairly average to me- I know he plays a different position but he is nowhere near the same quality as Bale or Oxlade- Chamberlain were at the same age.

not so easy playing in midfield. If you're an attacker and you f*ck up it isn't the end of the world, lose the ball in midfield and it's far more serious. Midfield in top flight teams is a hard place to play. You don't get too many credits for what you do well and you get a lot of stick for stuff that you do less well. Look at the idiots who are always criticising our midfield on this very forum; Lambert and Lallana have an off game..meh, Morgan,Cork or Davis..we need new players.
