Happy xmas to all.....

even those Saints fans who dont agree with my opinions.

I have been cursed by being a saints fan and so I wish all fellow cursed souls, A very happy christmas and a prosperous new year

Nicholas - and ain't that the best name for this time of year - above all, I cannot believe there is a person who frequents this depressing corner of the interweb who does not wish the best for this club.

Sometimes people get heated and angry and it boils over. Sometimes their own arrogance makes Lowe look a shy retiring type ( ;) ) and we are ALL guilty of doing a Captain Hook! (going overboard).

It's a bit of fun and banter. If we met in a boozer we would not doubt all be a bit more sensible than anonymity allows!

Happy Christmas to you and yours mate.

Here's hoping - Lowe or no - that we have a bloody spectacular 2009 and can stop worrying in March!!

You and I have crossed swords on a few occasions this year but not once have I ever doubted your support and best for the Saints.

I think the supporters of this great club deserve far better than what we are getting from this board and shareholders and just maybe "next year we will be millionaires".

As much as I love saints I hate them as much at the same time!!! Why they do it to us I dont know.

All Saints fans are special and I for 1 dont take the criticism to heart .

As for all the young kids who come on here, I hope you have a great time and get more than a lump of coal and a shrivelled up orange in your stocking like we did in our days......

My Christmas present to you is I promise never to mention our little bet about David Beckham where you told me he would never be selected for England again after that T&T match and he was playing against Fabio's will and only selected because the FA's marketing dept told him to play him.

You told me Beckham would never be selected for England again after that once Fabio had his way.

I begged to differ.

But in the spirit of Christmas, lets never mention it again (to be fair to me, I've never mentioned it before today).

Merry Christmas to you and to both people that like me and the many people that hate me on this forum.... :D

Have a good one!

Whatever views we hold,we are all Saints fans at the end of the day. This World would be a boring place if we were all the same, and good honest opinions / discussions are always welcome.

Absolutely! I'll second that. We may all disagree about what we agree that we don't know, but at the end of the day we are all Supporters of the Greatest Football Club in the World, and in my book blood runs thicker than opinions.

Wishing you all a happy Christmas and a deluge of three-pointers in the New Year!!

There are Saints supporters...and then there are Saints fans. We all support the Saints and I wish you all a Merry Xmas, but to the fellow fans (which alot of people have forgotten is actually short for fanatic) my christmas wish is for us to still have a team to support this time next year, no matter what league we might be in. If we're still in The Championship then I hope for all of our sakes that we are being run by someone who cares for the club and who can help us build from our current position of debt, confusion and p1ss poor football!

Happy Christmas everyone.

Reference international caps, Beckham or anyone else who gets caps for cameo part appearances should never be allowed to beat the 108 cap record of the late, great, Bobby Moore, every one I believe was a full game. Especially after Sven, who gave away at least 22 caps at each friendly.

especially when they were playing 3rd grade football.

Back home in Dubai after a brief sojurn over a long weekend to take in the Christmas spirit and SMS. My thanks to the big man upstairs for the weather and making sure so many people I know back home were in the right places at the right time so I could see and speak with them.

For a day or two, let us enjoy stuffing our Turkeys and panicking about the Parsnips being properly done. (And may we all remember where we hid that left-over Brandy for the Pudding)

For a day or two the kids can wonder about the magic of Santa, whereas we all seem to have lost that belief now.

Peace and Goodwill to all and sundry out there in internet land and may your Christmas be filled with the warmth of family and/or having your friends around you.

Christmas - A good time to end a self imposed exile.

So, I would like to wish everyone on this forum (whatever your views on Rupert) a joyful Christmas and a healthy, peaceful New Year.

As a club we have had a rocky 12 months and I feel the next might be equally tempestuous but heyho that is Saints it seems. How I sometimes yearn for the heady days of yesteryear.

My thanks to all the mods too - keeping the peace amid the turmoil that is this forum is never easy.

Cheers Duncan

Good to see you back FF. This forum has been all the poorer since you and certain others, decided to no longer post.

Ditto to Nick.

I sense Lowe's immenent resignation... let us al prepare to rejoice and get behind the team to have a successful New Year by:

1. Supporting this poor bunch of unconfident kids.

2. Removing the plc forever.

3. Selling the Club as one and all... fans, new board, legends and Southampton City Council.

Time to say goodbye to the cancer once and for all.

Merry Christmas and prepare for a Happy New Year... there's still time to save the club in the CCC when Lowe gives us our Christmas present...

'I resign'.

Nice to see you back friend. It is a shame that I cannot PM you but I would be very interested to hear your views on what went on at the AGM and indeed your thoughts since the start of the season. You have been greatly missed.

Thanks for the sentiments, Hypo.

Yesterday was indeed very interesting for lots of different reasons - but perhaps I will wait until Steve Grants (pun intended) me full posting rights when he gets my fiver.

I would love a crystal ball to see where we are going to be in 12 months.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. I was wondering how many of the main players would be at next years AGM and which side of the divide would they be on. It might not be great but it's certainly interesting!
