Isn't that the truth. Football is a simple game which has been overcomplicated by idiots.

And in turn, is making the game a total borefest. I can barely watch a game on the TV these days, whereas only a few years ago I wouldn’t have missed any.

It has turned into background coverage in sports bars.

I agree

watching Man City, let alone hearing the taters fawn over them, is fucking dull most of the time.

I find it surprising that Leicester haven’t binned off RVN already. He’s obviously not going to be their manager next year and relegation is confirmed.

I would have thought they’d gamble on a new (caretaker) manager bounce ahead of their easiest game of the season but they haven’t.

They may have decided that he will be a good Championship manager?

But I can see this lot going for him over any other name.

It's exactly the sort of appointment Ankersen would go for.

And let's not forget how instrumental this wanker was in tapping up half our squad while on England duty.

Which would be a problem if Ankersen were in any way involved in the new manager appointment. And he isn’t. So it isn’t.

He's a major shareholder in the club.

Wolves played a good brand of football last night. Entertaining.

I know people scoff at the big man up front these days but the big man with a sharp quick striker football was effective and good to watch.

It was also interesting how Wolves left a ma up front when defending, so refreshing

Many years ago this used to be pretty standard as a tactic.

yep, but tippy tappy swamped football. I know im a dinosour but the goalmouth scrambles and total carnage that used to ensue with the likes of Big Ron, Duncan Ferguson, Toshack, and others who made defenderslives a nightmare. VVD couldnt cope with Tall Paul so imagine how those would have sorted him, as good as he is he has easy rides most of the time to allow him to point

First time posting on here for such a long time.

Absolutely know who our next manager is and I’m delighted too as he will fill his Rohl really well.

Ex Denmark manager got offered the job but never agreed the contract terms as he knew what the clubs short term plans were.

In a panic they took the short term option and a gamble with Juric. (On Ankermans head again that one) knob!!

Changes at the top?

Yes if the price is right!

All a bit cryptic Pilchards.

Was that an offer to the end of the season as a short term plan?

or is beyond the end of the season still a short term plan ?

We got the same result against City as they got last night earlier this season and we had more shots on target than them. Refreshing and effective.

Not sure if a Championship manager is the way to go.  Watching Coventry v Boro and the standard is absolute dogshit.

Reflecting The standard of players as well.

It is but it is also more entertaining. And que sera sera, maybe we're not going to Coventry.

And maybe Frank is seeing what happens to Coventry before making a decision on his future.

Very true, but that is our standard.  We have just stunk out the Premiere League, hopefully we'll manage to stabilise in the championship.
