Lighthouse Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Seems to be somewhere in the right ballpark. A quick Google puts the cheapest ticket on par with Wheff Weds and slightly cheaper than Sunderland, Boro and Norwich.

spyinthesky Posted May 12 Posted May 12 I've paid up. More to do with maintaining the seat I have had from the first season at SMS (the only one of the gang of 5 who moved over from the East Stand Lower) rather than anticipation of a load of wins from a free scoring team.
Dragon_man Posted May 12 Posted May 12 They could/should have offered ST holders the 5% reduction and installment as a loyalty for saying the course this season. I don't like the spin of 4 extra games, the ST price didn't come down this year though there were 4 less games! Either way, I have little confidence that next season will be a good one. We're in a much worse position ... no manager, not sure which players are staying, the best are bound to leave, club may be up for sale and Bazunu back in goal 😂 Think its membership for me. Not so much about the ST price, I just see a difficult season ahead and a mid table finish. 1
dsrdorset Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Disgusting prices for season ticket renewal, absolutely disgraceful. And the fact they charge £25 to pay by instalments wipes out the discount! No gratitude or incentive for the loyal fans. My ticket is £190 more expensive than the 23/24 Championship season. They need to re-think this urgently. 1
dsrdorset Posted May 12 Posted May 12 3 hours ago, stevegrant said: Likely people who basically had no intention of going again this season, so they noticed they hadn't finished paying for their season ticket and just cancelled the direct debit via their bank. I imagine the club would have first tried contacting them to reinstate the payments but after that they probably just blocked the ticket. If I remember rightly, the early St Mary's days featured voucher books for season tickets as they had the free bus passes attached as well, so there probably wasn't much they could do about fraud (and let's be fairly clear, that's what this is/was) because every ticket voucher was the same and nothing was scanned to authenticate that exact ticket. Surely that will affect their credit rating, right? Like defaulting on any financial agreement, it comes with huge consequences. 1
trousers Posted May 12 Posted May 12 One can always get a 0% credit card to avoid the installment charge... 2

Willo of Whiteley Posted May 12 Posted May 12 That swing in price if you’re a disabled U14 on the halfway line!

Exactly - not really sure why people think we're in a worse position than 2 years ago. We were utterly pathetic after Rabbithutch left. We then got promoted, scoring second most goals and creating the most chances with a Manager that a lot of fans think was utterly clueless. Edited May 13 by Farmer Saint 1 1
moorw003 Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I have been thinking hard for months about whether to do it. When I got the email, I decided to close my eyes and just press the button, but seeing the extra 5% charge, which entirely eats up the loyalty saving, I've changed my mind. I'm sorry to be fickle, but it seems unnecessary and I'm not going to accept it. Sorry guys, but I'm going back to attending watching my mix of some Saints games, some Aldershot games for next season. Pretty disappointed in the club over this tbh.
Lord Duckhunter Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I don’t know why there’s so many mains about the instalment plan. There isn’t many credit offers that don’t cost you extra, and aren’t they giving the people who pony up early a discount, rather than charging extra for instalments. A subtle difference. All in all, it’s pretty fair pricing imo. 4
Farmer Saint Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Can't people just get a 0% credit card or something like that? They tend to be plentiful, and if your credit rating is that bad perhaps you should concentrate on clearing your debts rather than getting a Saints season ticket. 1 1
Kenilworthy59 Posted May 13 Posted May 13 It is not very nice that the season ticket discount no longer applies to shirts, the one thing that most people would use it for

Dank Posted May 15 Posted May 15 I'm considering moving from the family stand now my son has turned 15. I found it difficult to control the swearing this year (mine not his) and we're considering moving to Northam Standing. I've never had a season ticket there before. Is he too young?

Football Special Posted May 29 Posted May 29 This me laugh , there are other clubs with more dissatisfied fans than us , but who were the 10% very satisfied? Pompey fans surveyed by mistake? 1

Wade Garrett Posted May 29 Posted May 29 Renewed a couple of days ago. Wish I had waited to be honest. Transfer business has started as clever bollocks bullshit again. 1
rallyboy Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Just renewed. I was surprised to see the difference in price between the Northam and the Kingsland, did last season really look that much better from the halfway line? 😊
Saint_lambden Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Have renewed. I mean, it can hardly be any less enjoyable than the season just gone so the only way is up in my view. No VAR to contend with; we might actually win some games and we've actually got someone accountable (and seemingly fairly competent) in charge of the football side of things who is not messing around in terms of getting key appointments in place early. 1

Whitey Grandad Posted May 30 Posted May 30 We are not going to renew but will take out a membership each. I've tried looking on the club website but seem to be blocked out from certain pages. Are we going to have to wait until we haven't renewed? 1

maysie Posted Saturday at 12:27 Posted Saturday at 12:27 Looking for some help - I have my Dad linked on my online account but when going to renew his ticket is show him as a standard adult when he is over 65, when I look to edit him under friends and family it says I can’t as he’s an active user. Any ideas or do I need to call the ticket office?

Email the ticket office and they will change his category so you can then renew online. They did it for me in a matter of minutes

Good friend of mine is the stadium announcer at Aldershot and I watch a good few of their northern games as he follows them away.
Dr Who? Posted Sunday at 13:39 Posted Sunday at 13:39 Nope, we’ll have not renewed since 2018. I moved to Cumbria in 2015 and had my season ticket since 2001 up to that point, but I could not justify it any longer. So not had a season ticket since then and only been to around 4/5 home games in 10 years. Now a northern saint I go to the majority of northern games from midlands up with my boy. I pop along to Carlisle home games, but their season has been just as depressing as ours. Also keep an eye out for Penrith, Royston, and Torquay, but the 2 latter do not travel north, until they get higher up the non league. I do not think I require a season ticket for any reason that would benefit me! I can get tickets, it is not a problem.
Barton Saint Posted Sunday at 14:14 Posted Sunday at 14:14 Just renewed today and also filled out the form looking to move from the K to the I

It used too be good for getting away tickets, but this year I found it more useful for booking home tickets. If you buy tickets when the window opens, there's always a choice for most areas of the ground. 1
