Leicester's second goal scored by the chap who should've seen red!

Nasty challenge that. He'll argue that he got the ball, but the follow through was a potential ankle-breaker.

The pundits are blowing sunshine up Leicester's arse, but  Birmingham put them under plenty of pressure and it was their lack of quality rather than great defending that kept them out.

Two poor sides from what I watched.

I think both moved it faster than we have thus far.

Leicester's players nuch pacier than ours, too.

Fatawu the outlier, other than that they don’t look up to much.

Leicester are still decent and for a side in supposed financial trouble have a good squad, fuck knows if they will ever get this points deduction but they'll be right up there.

Showing how crazy top flight football transfers have become, these sorts of stats equal £70-80m transfer fee.

This is the fella Newcastle signed, I don't see it myself. Maybe 15-20m striker tops, but 70-80? Crazy times.

Looks like Delap has done his hammy for Chelsea.

Also note that Chelsea signing Garncho, as well as loaning in the fella from Brighton. How many players do they need....

Well I think we can discount Sheff Utd as title contenders this season. They look fucking awful against Boro. So open at the back, and posing no attacking threat whatsoever.

The one that fucked me off was our disallowed goal at Wolves last season. Utterly ridiculous.

Yep. That was never even a foul, let alone a clear and obvious error.

And then Chelsea score in the 9th min of added time, which was only added due to the time it took to chalk off Fulhams goal.

It's those sort of things which make the PL pointless. You might as well not even bother to compete.

VAR is a disgrace. Every week these referees are making the game about them, and taking all common sense and enjoyment out of the game.

While you're right, the standard of refereeing is just generally awful. Every championship game I've watched this season has had an awful ref, it can't be coincidence

Now another VAR perverse penalty to rub salt into the wounds for Fulham

Might be another foul in the build up, i mean how far back you go?

Indeed. Quite how the ref decided that Peck's challenge in the Boro v Sheff Utd game earlier was only worth a yellow is beyond me.

A handball still has to be deliberate. He was not even looking in the direction from which the ball was coming let alone deliberately trying to handle it with his limb. The "unnatural position" and "making their body appear larger" criteria are deeply flawed: totally subjective and internally illogical. That these subjective criteria are both then deemed evidence for deliberate intent is ludicrous. Unless a player is an Ehlers Danlos syndrome person or a contortionist then how do they adopt an anatomically unnatural position? "Appear larger" ? So not actually larger? When knows what these things mean in cold analysis, let alone in the hurly burly of play.

Sheff Utd look as bad at finishing as we do.

What I saw was the possession build up play which looked good and some good chances going begging in the final third . This style seemed to suit the slower championship league .

The coincidence is that you're the one who's watching 😉

Sheffield United fans have totally turned on Selles already. Played 4, lost 4.

All chanting 'you're getting sacked in the morning' when he went over to try and applaud them after a 1-0 defeat where they had no shots on goal.

He stood there and fronted them up to be fair to him.

I'm afraid it doesn't have to be deliberate any more 😒
