Well unless you've seen every game he and Sesay has played as well as seen them both in training, I'll assume the staff at the club have a better idea of who is ready and who isn't.

Yeah youre right. We should definitely trust this managements ability to pick the right players.

What the actual fuck is that starting 11?

5-2-3...

Charles and azaz in the cm, AA right, scienza left, archer up top.

It's not the worst, azaz in cm alongside Charles is what I would play (except in a 3 with a CDM behind).

Archer up top is just criminal. If we are playing this formation then play the young lad, or play another winger and put AA up top. Downs or archer is 10men - those two and BBD are possibly 3 of the worst strikers we've had in a squad since the heady days of Barnard and Connolly.

So Bragg and Oyekunle make the bench, but Aribo and Edozie are both still completely frozen out.

I can only assume Welington still isn't totally fit otherwise it's nuts to put Manning back in ahead of him.

3 at the back again, against one of the worst teams we will play this season 🤦

No disrespect to Charles who has been excellent, but on his own in CM? Really? 🤨

What even is that formation? 5-1-3-1? 3-3-2-2? I've genuinely no idea.

I really want to like Still and give him more time, but he's really not doing himself any favours with this constant tossed salad approach to team selection.

Yep Still said he was injured in his press conference.

Agree with everything else you've said too.  Really want it to work out but he only has himself to blame if he keeps making this many changes and it doesn't.

5 at the back against 23rd placed Blackburn. Still hasn't brought off a centre-back for an attacker in any of the previous games we've struggled to score in, so doubtful we'll change it up if it doesn't work again. Must win, or we've appointed another dud.

It's surely 5-2-3 with azaz and Charles as CM. Azaz as a deep lying play maker (which is where he should be in our squad - i.e. behind the attackers in space and with more of the ball).

If it isn't that then still has utterly lost the plot.

I’m really struggling to not be overly critical but he really isn’t helping himself. We lose today and it’s starting to look like his position is becoming untenable

5 - 2 - 3. Isn’t that what we’ve been playing for weeks?

No idea, as it just seems all over the place but what we do know is that 2 in midfield simply does not work and leaves us open an teams get at our defensive are easily

In fairness to him, fellows, Robinson, Stewart, wellington, jander, and downes are all our with injury or sickness.

Hoping for a bloody miracle if you think we'll play an anchor man! 😂 (sadly)

That team, and that bench, and your focus is Archer?

That XI is a shit show. Aribo shouldn't be frozen out. Archer shouldn't be the scapegoat.

Amazed that Aribo is frozen out. He was decent in this league and pretty good at keeping the ball

Well, I do trust Still. I know you're one of the ones that wants a new manager every 10 games but that's why I'm quite happy to dismiss anything you say outright.

Says the gimp that thinks Swansea was a good performance and things are getting better while we continue to slide down the table

Aribo would be a big upgrade. Absolutely bizarre we ignore him.

And we still have Aribo, Edozie and Matsuki sitting around doing nothing. Not the best names ever, but Aribo was important in the last promotion season, Edozie was alright two years ago before he got clattered and is good enough for today, while Matsuki hasn't been seen since scoring a lovely goal at Norwich.

All three good enough to play against the 23rd placed team in the Championship to give us another option and a bit more going forward, rather than persisting with the tactic that has given us two flukey wins in 11 games.

Alternatively it could work out to be a stroke of genius, Azaz making himself available deeper and helping to push the ball forward. Blackburn don't offer much threat.

He’s a number 10, which is why we bought him.  Scores and assists for fun there.  Idiotic to play him anywhere else.

Who knew that Aribo would be touted by many as the missing link? I guess it just shows that a player becomes ever more talented the longer he's not playing. 😁

Well considering our squad has been hit by illness to the extent our only other CM options are Bragg or Shoehorn, which would you have preferred?

Edwards sat in front of the back 4, in a 3 with Charles and Azaz (which I hope we see in the game)

But, watching Azaz pick the ball up 35 yards from our own goal will be a sad thing to see. Much like watching Fellows trying to beat half a team as he is fed the ball in our own defensive 3rd

Tragic stuff..

Yeah, you'd have been stood up and applauding if he picked Ronnie Edwards in CM I'm sure of it.

What a fucking shambles.

Yet, we should probably win this.

We'll win I should imagine, but the way Still goes into games makes it blindingly obvious he is out of his depth (IMO)

Yep, I would have, given the options. It still might be from the start or in possession.

Lets see

What's happened to Matsuki? Last time we saw him, he came on as sub and scored a worldie....ah, that could be it!

Not a fan of the line up. I'm not Still Out yet but failure to win today would definitely take me closer. I want him to get to January and see it he's learned the positions we need players in (we all know what those are).

Blackburn, Preston, QPR and Wednesday in the next 4 games. 9 points or better (and the positivity that would bring us) is about acceptable for a club that still wants to get promoted.

At Eastleigh  v Morecombe.  Having season tickets for Saints and Eastleigh I get to see computer data football and proper football. I think half Eastleigh are Saints fans, plus few Saints stewards allways here.

I think us fans must start to see some passion , pride and a fighting spirit from the players today. It starts today we cannot accept anything other than a convincing win. We need to start playing proper footie stop giving the f*****g ball away, stop giving away soft goals, start hitting the back of the net, these pathetic missed dead cert chances Infront of goal. Yes I can understand why some fans have had enough of Will Still but let's be honest it's really down to the 11 players on the pitch to really put in a shift. COYS 0-3 Minimum please 🥺

He scored a great goal, but every time a Norwich player got close to him he lost the ball. Looks decent if he can play in pockets and not come in to contact with other players, but does seem to lack a lot in the physical side of the game.
