Jack Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Aside from Bragg it’s a fairly obvious formation and starting XI from Eckhert, and exactly why we should’ve prioritised employing a proper manager. That midfield is going to get completely overrun, exposing our shaky defence with wing backs out of position. Made even better by going with our shitter of 2 shit keepers. Bazunu’s gloves are slippery enough without the rain as well. Hope I’m wrong but reckon that’s a comfortable home win. 1 2

Two wins. You're the one who's nervous, not him. Not responsible for the goals either. Grow a pair. 1
coalman Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Look at that spine. Bazunu, Stephens, Bragg, Armstrong. *sigh* COYR - I still want to believe in you. 3 1

In ahead of experience is the strange call though, as we have very little experience. He's not a wonderkid though. He's 21 years old, he's not a kid and his loans at a lower level have been pretty low-par. We're not dealing with an Ox, Dibling, Bale style prodigy here. Just a bog standard lower league player. There are a couple of other kids in the U21's who play with bragg - Whitmarsh and Romeo, both purchased from Ireland with big fanfare for around £1m. Why not use those? You may be right, but we don't need him to be a prodigy for him to be able to do a job for us.

coalman Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Here's hoping Sky offer a picture in picture Nathan Jones cam. 1

Saint NL Posted November 22 Posted November 22 The only positive I can see is that when you expect nothing, you can't really be disappointed 🤷♂️ 2

Lighthouse Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Baz was partly responsible for the goal we conceded against QPR, however McC was partly responsible for both goals against Blackburn. I think given choice I'd rather win in spite of Bazunu, than lose in spite of McCarthy. 2
Thereisonlyonemickychannon Posted November 22 Posted November 22 I feel lucky. Charlton is a good ground to go to. Saints fans will be making loads of noise under the roof of the stand. Get the bloody win Saints!

Convict Colony Posted November 22 Posted November 22 This game has me as excited as getting my balls waxed. Hope Tonda has made a difference with 2 weeks training under his belt.
obelisk Posted November 22 Posted November 22 No nerves from me going in to this one. Maybe it's because I'm starting to get beyond caring very much.🤔
Suhari Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Good day. Lineup about what I expected. Who's the number 34 on the bench? Never heard of him.

CB Fry Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Nice to get a few "well, we started brightly" minutes in before Charlton score. 5
