Yes. Is this his first game on a windy day? That's the real test to see how he manages that

The wind is forecast to drop a fair bit so shouldn't be a problem but I know what you mean - we never seem to play well in adverse conditions.

Club just sent out text offering £10 off tickets for the game.

Ha bit late in the day, I think they need to rethink pricing for these midweek games , particularly in winter,  live on sky , non-season ticket holders just won't make the effort.

Should have offered cheaper prices up front as now that will just annoy people who have already paid full price

If they go 4231, I'm going for a 4-1 victory

If only you'd gone for a predicted formation of 4321 you could also have had a 3-2 win. Now we're 50% doomed.

Yep, we should be worried Storm Brom is heading this way....ah, stand down stewards, it's Storm Bram not Brom.

As you were.

Baggies have a terrible away record. We have hit good form - 4-0 Saints 🤞

Assume we won’t need to water the pitch tonight 😁😁

This new found confidence across the fanbase is unsettling… Add the negativity of the baggies fans and everything points to a frustrating evening. 😊

Yeah not sure about Aribo either. Bragg would have been better. Will be good to Charles back.

Yes, a very defensive subs bench.

Archer, Fraser and Robinson?

Captain Jack benched.

In unrelated news an un-named Championship club is in crisis after the captain contacted the owner to express their lack of confidence in the manager.

We've been battered with the storm and had no power all afternoon, it's just come back and the team lineups look good. Let's do this.

Looking at Eckert’s comments I wouldn’t be surprised to see Quarshie back in for this.

Told ya. Seems like Stephens is the natural one to miss out now when Ekert prefer some pace/power.

Or is it management of an older player?

Ditto. Very much a tactical thing.

I find the repeated inclusion of Aribo quite baffling, considering we've seen not one but two young midfielders step up admirably from the U21s recently and perform far better than the feeble efforts we've seen from Joe in recent games.

I can only assume that he's being put in the shop window to get a move sorted in January. Because I can't think of another good reason why he's being preferred to Bragg and Williams right now.

That's what I was thinking. They're maybe hoping to move him on in January

Think you’ve answered your own question there. Thankfully the game plan generically seems to hinge on not relying on him to do anything of any significance.

It's Archers birthday today as well, back him to score when he comes on after 60 mins

Hope he keeps the cake well away from Joe Aribo until full time though.

We should win this. Strangely I’m not at the point where I actually have enough confidence yet that the players are able to get the job done. We don’t seem to do draws so I’m going 1-2, with Manning allowing a late cross and a resultant goal for them at the death.

Might be worth checking for concussion if your first reaction to the storm returning is "the team lineups look good."

Oh good. The light show. Nothing like making your football pitch look like a roller disco to set the mood.

COYR. Let's keep this going!

Saints have been good going forward but the defence still allows far too many balls into the box for my liking. Take our chances, don't defend too deeply and we'll be ok.

It's showing Preston v Cov for me.

I get Sky via NOWTV and had to search for it. It wasn't showing up on any of the obvious channels

The main commentator sounds like he's on work experience from school 😂

That may not be a downgrade on Sky's commentary team.
