Wilder was his best man, that’s how close they were. I haven’t seen the bloke for years as he lives abroad, but keep up with him on FB, every time he’s back he’s posts pictures of a night out with Wilder or in the players/directors lounge at a game. Anyway, I messaged him when Wilder got sacked, “we need your mate at Saints”. He replied “he’d love to”. Imagine the meltdown had we done so 😂😂

The principles of the argument haven’t changed though. Experience doesn’t get you results. Otherwise Sheffield United would be out of the bottom 3 by now. My apologies it wasn’t 1 game, but…… 21 minutes ago, Fabrice29 said: I think the post and the first page of the thread I reference show why I called you a misogynist to be fair. But hey let’s ignore that I’ve proven you wrong about the Wilder point if you like. Can we focus on that ‘Mr Wrong’ title though, surely fully grown men can come up with something better than that? “Experience doesn’t get you results otherwise Sheffield United would be out of the bottom 3 by now” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Edited Sunday at 14:08 by Turkish 2 1

The same players that were getting pumped every week with Seles are now out of the bottom 3 one point below us with a game in hand yet it’s NOTHING to do with manager 😂😂😂😂😂 3

Andy Hill Posted Sunday at 14:18 Posted Sunday at 14:18 We desperately need a Manager that has something about him. A peanut is more inspiring than TE. 2

Saint NL Posted yesterday at 13:11 Posted yesterday at 13:11 So the fans wanted Carrick and he's now Man United manager. We also wanted Rosenior, he ended up at Chelsea. Maybe we were aiming too high? Maybe the quality of manager at the moment is poor.

I seem to remember a lot of people moaning he didn’t pull up trees at Middlesbrough 1

Willo of Whiteley Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Rosenior was out of our league when we sacked Will Still. Carrick hasn’t pulled up any trees at Middlesbrough. But he was always going to get it over Ole Gunner Solskjaer. If they’d brought him back it’s basically another admission of failure from the board (going back to the same person).

Boro fans don't think too highly of him. As for Rosenior, anyone who thought he'd have left Strasbourg to come here is utterly deluded. 2
Dr. Kucho Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I don’t think a new manager will have a huge effect on our results. Might have a short bounce but we’ll end up the same as we are now. We’ve had Hasenhuttl, Jones, Selles, Martin, Juric, Rusk, Still and now Eckert. They can’t all be poor managers with clueless tactics. I think, no ITK just purely my thoughts, that the club have a certain playing philosophy in mind and expect the managers to play that way. They always go for managers who are relatively inexperienced and for who we are a big club. They never seem to approach managers who have been around and see us as a challenge. It will only change when those in charge say to Spors and the manager. “Don’t care how or with who, just win games and get results”. 2 1
tdmickey3 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If and it’s a big if we get another coach/manager it won’t be until the summer, someone from a work experience scheme I expect.
Mr X Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It's pretty obvious Tonda Is here to stay for the rest of this season but he best not be here next season.....bar him suddenly achieving the greatest turn around in form and tactics we have ever seen.... Which isn't looking likely... He looks like another Sport Republic dud that got lucky for four or five games and they mistook it for talent! 2

If Spors leaves then it may change but I believe he will be given time to learn and grow in the job. SR don’t seem to want promotion this season so Tonda is their man. Whether results or fans change that I don’t know but I have no faith in either and feel detached from this shower.

I think the next 3 games are massive for him. But I have no faith in the club to get the next appointment right if they sack him this season or next, so I have no idea what I want…

Although this may horrify some, but a Nathan Jones now, in the Championship, might not have been a bad shout.
