Does make you wonder at what point does Solak realise Sport Republic are completely clueless and force them out to protect at least a portion of his investment.  They’ve repeatedly proven themselves totally bereft of ideas on how to run a successful club off the pitch and most importantly on it.

I can’t fault the money that Solak has spent on the club.  The big issue is on what and whom.  It has been an absolute clinic in comedy recruitment from leadership to coaching staff to players. If it wasn’t my club I would find it absolutely hilarious.

He's had plenty of time to, and sadly the time is now up. He's run out of rope.

He's intertwined with all of this just as much as Rasmus and co as far as I'm concerned. He put himself as our Chairman 10 months ago as he wanted to oversee things closer, and be closer to the decisions - that was his last attempt to rescue the situation. It's failed.

He needs to do what he said he would do and put us up for sale, that's all I want from him now.

And yes, I agree @S-Clarke Solak needs to make good on his promise now. It’s well beyond SR having even 0.1% credibility with our fanbase or in the city, or the sport. He had the chance to bin Ankerson off or limit him to Goztepe but he bottled it.

Yep. Loads wrong but the main underlying issue is not having a disciplinarian around to take names and kick ass. Standards dropped under Martin and they've never recovered. Losing and doing badly happens but losing in the manner we have done this season and without the required effort is shameful and unforgivable.

Blackmore politely put it to him a little, and Tonda was adamant we had the stats to back up the right approach in the first half, and it is "all in" on Wednesday....said that a couple of times

 

• I am very frustrated, the stats say the game was in one direction, the result is the other
• We need to get our head up and go again
• The good thing is that we play twice this week and we go all in on Weds
• If you look at the whole game today, there were 2 moments where we gave away easy goals
• The game was clearly going in one direction but we never got the result
• We had Ross on the pitch at the end, we needed to find him quicker
• We tried to create 1-v-1s, but we need to get the ball to him quicker
• We pressed very high in the 1st half, then switched in the 2nd half, but it is about winning games
• We had an xG of 1.7 in the first half. I know people talk about this when you dont win
• We had more than enough chances to win
• Time to start winning football games. Today, play 9 out of 10 we win

The fact he mentions xG and stats says everything for me, he's a data driven analysts and that is why he's in position. Stats, stats, graphs, metrics. re-sale value for academy players. He's an absolute puppet and the above are just a load of soundbites he's read from his amazon 'how to be a football manager' guide.

Being a Welshman i dont know whats worse at the moment, watching the Saints or the Welsh rugby team. On the flip side a Pats fan, winning the Superbowl will ease the pain.

His stats speak says it all, absolute rubbish. Stats mean jack shit if you don’t win the game.

Imagine the reaction if we finish 22nd but our XG is 5.0 every match and possession is +75%.

These continually weak performances we've had to endure for so long convince me that real work is not being put in at Staplewood. I'd bet it's like a holiday camp up there during training with players half arsed, larking around and just doing the absolute bare minimum. Nothing else explains the absolute lack of fight or commitment on match days or the fact that most of them are constantly blowing out their arses after about ten minutes of walking football. We look the least fit team in the whole of the Championship. It's no wonder we are continually losing or failing to beat some rank average sides and dropping like a stone.

It has actually been hinted at from Within the camp itself, that there is a distinct lack of discipline and professionalism among the players during training and has been for well over a year or so. Punctuality, application and effort etc, all way short of what’s expected and required for a successful sports team. It won’t get any better with a manager who’s scared of half the players, either. This is what happens when there is no strong leadership and management within the coaching side of things. Which makes sense when you think of the appointments SR make

I’d put him in temporary charge for Weds and the derby until they can get a Mowbray or Pulis type in to keep us up.

You are correct, but some of those missed chances in the first half were appalling. Our players were doing their best chuckle brothers routine instead of shooting from 5 yards.

Reckon the RM fanclub are too used to their days off and don't give a crap anyway as they've managed to get all the managers who've tried to get them to put in a shift fired. Put the shit stirrers in a bomb squad, honestly, it might hurt their resale value but relegation is going to do that anyway. Just get rid however you can, cut the cancer out of the club FFS.

It really became apparent under Juric. For all his faults I like the way he called out Downes and how unfit the players were.

You’d think after all the games this season, last season and beyond they’d start to question the way they are using the metrics… because it’s not fucking working.

At this stage there isn't really much point in going down to the details of per match, as the problems are consistent across multiple. We move the ball too slowly, we're too ponderous, we have no drive, no one willing to take ownership, no one leading, no one organising, no structure and absolutely no idea how to play football.

The manager was always out of his depth, you saw it at QPR in his first game. Rabbit in headlights, but the club were always desperate to give it to him. He will leave here and will never manage again, of that I'm sure. We've been used for another clever bollocks experiment. 

Moving away from the manager - the first team environment is toxic, fully toxic. It's like Chinese knot weed - it consumes the entire setup. Good players come in (Jander, Leo etc) and get dragged down into it, it happens in any toxic environment - good people come in, get suppressed, don't fulfil their potential and then leave to another environment where they do - but the toxic 'group' remains and continues to drag it down.

If I was in charge and it was 'simple', I'd be sacking Downes and Manning tonight - they shouldn't be anywhere near our club, they are horrendous in ability but most importantly attitude. Downes is absolutely stinking the place out, he hasn't wanted to be here since his boyfriend left and he doesn't even bother anymore. The bloke will go down as one of my least favourite players ever, I hate him.

Manning is manning, just shit. I also hate him.

I hate a lot of this team, and that's the crux of it really. We can roll the dice on another manager, but if this toxic characters remain around the first team and the boardroom (looking at you Rasmus) then nothing will ever change.

We need people with footballing experience and knowledge at the club, it feels rudderless - we're lead by analysts, sports scientists and data driven morons. Cheers for nothing SR, now fuck off.

I agree, particularly on Downes and Manning but a strong manager will take control of the dressing room and manage those cunts.
