Well done Saints. Players gave their all and that was a well deserved victory to send us to Wembley. We got stronger as Boro got weaker and it showed in extra time. Was dreading a penalty shoot out.

The game had everything and how there were no penalties given is beyond me.

Now we need to beat Hull.

Two great teams going right at it but we bossed it at the sharp end from half-time onwards and I don't think they had a shot worthy of the name after that.

Immense performance tonight and across the 2 legs.

Boro gave everything they had. They were hanging on, with Sarmiento giving them a late boost.

It took that Charles curling cross/ shot to get past the stretching leg of Fry to make the difference.

Just thinking of all that pressure we soaked up in the first half of the first leg. Or having to come back from going down so early tonight, and finding a way back into it.

Our organisation, game plan and sheer hard graft right across the squad saw us through. 

A performance and group to be proud of.
