What a team. I thought Boro were absolutely fucking pathetic after the first 10 minutes. Thoroughly deserved. You fucking beauties

That was a brilliant game of football. Their  defending was fantastic. Sad that there is a smear over all this because it was absolutely peak football.
Manning my POTM but so many were fantastic.
Targett was great and it must be hard to be a player who is a fan. When he was with us he was really good with my nipper.

Wow, so glad that we were able to see Boro off! What a great moment.

Hopefully the ~10 days give us a chance to fully recharge, and fix Leo, obviously.

THB is also guilty of disability abuse now.

its ironic given ayling probably called the ref and us cunts about 50 times at that point.

Honestly weak as piss as a footballer and if he reacts like that I look forward to all of the championship to take the piss out of him every game next season.

Boro fans in proper meltdown on the BBC thread. Apparently we're the worst fans in the game and we'll be banned from the competition before the final. Idiot commentators on Sky already predicting Hull will beat us. Let's fucking smash them. The media will hate it 🤣

Well, that was stressful. Like Saturday, Boro tired as the game went on. Think we deserved it overall although we rode our luck big time first half Saturday. Nice to make Wembley our second home!

Phew!

Really? That's nuts.

Why haven't you mentioned this before?

Hmm. Not sure I've seen that poster before, must be a new lad on the forum..

Discriminatory comment apparently, probably called him a long haired girl or something

They didn't mind him screaming abuse at the ref though.

Final is on a Saturday.

Feels like it should be Sunday. One less day for Boro to train I guess.

I’m pleased as we go on holiday Sunday

Basically they think we are cheating scummy bastards and likewise we think the same about them

It'll be spicy next season if we don't beat Hull in the final.

Commentator asking their manager how they will plan for the final as we might get kicked out.

Their manager basically ignoring it and saying no.

Tonda is the master of team selection and substitute deployment.

Easy to make the right decisions when you've spied on the oppositions plans.

Hellberg pretty gracious

Saying Saints are an unbelievably good side, but they played well and held their own and they themselves were good.

They had a plan if they won the game, but there is no plan.

Gives congrats to the players and supporters of Southampton, but has told Tonda what he thinks of the whole situation.

Hellberg saying they didn't have a plan to keep training if they lost... Congratulated us and refused to say any more when pressed... Under instruction not to say anything untoward or just being genuinely magnanimous...?

Surely a Sky commentator didn’t ask that?

Outlandish, but also very funny 😂

Get in. What a result.

Just popping over to the Borough forum for a look to see how they're taking it...

They played well the first half of the first game

Now they're dependant on us being disqualified

Even then, Hull will probably benefit

Just saw on twitter that THB said something like "keep stuttering" to Ayling.

Not very nice, but don't think he will get banned for that

It seemed he was just being gracious and kind of stepped down from it now the contest is over

Almost as if it was just one big plan just to unsettle us..

Boro spent 200 days in the top 2 as well hahaha

If they just let stuff go, it gives them more of a chance

We didn't knock them out, they did this to themselves

Maybe we'll be disqualified, but it's not the right way to win. It's a wing and a prayer approach to football

He said, "needs buttering", because he wasn't saying their play off chances were toast.

exactly this whatever we will be punished will not benefit boro, it will be us v Hull and us with a big fine and pts deduction for next time we are in efl.

we are adopting the leciester approach to dealing with the efl
