That dirty cunt Analing should have been booked at least for his assault on him but did not get a card

Should have had three yellows and arguably a red for the penalty (although the ref ignored plenty of other pelantiee too).

Why would the game not be a 3pm kick off? Sky won't be showing the Scottish cup final on Main Event and it's a pisstake for Hull fans if they go with a lunchtime K.O.

EFL currently looking at possible alternative venues and moving the date of the Play Off Final. Any decision re: Spygate has to be made before the game and 10 days may not be enough time to investigate, reach conclusions and pass sentence. None of this bodes well for us.

A random Boro fan on Twitter I should expect.

The Championship playoff final is the EFL's showcase event. The very notion that they would consider changing the date and moving it away from Wembley because of a bit of press hysteria is utterly ridiculous.

Do we know the kick off time yet?

I know we don't have long to wait to find out, but the last few years have been...

2024    3:00pm
2023    4:45pm
2022    4:30pm
2021    3:00pm (Covid restrictions)
2020    7:45pm (Covid restrictions, behind closed doors)
2019    3:00pm
2018    3:00pm

If we can read into anything into the last two years, it will be 3.02 pm, then.

How many tickets did we get for 2024 final ?  Will it be like the cup semi where we're given an amount and then given more when we sell them out.

Excuse the ChatGPT, but I couldn't remember myself :)

Southampton F.C. were initially allocated 35,667 tickets for the 2024 Championship Play-off Final against Leeds United at Wembley Stadium.

A few days later, Wembley released an additional 1,233 tickets to Southampton after the initial allocation sold out, taking the total Saints allocation to approximately 36,900 tickets.

The total attendance for the final was 85,862, which was actually the best-attended Championship play-off final in about a decade.

As much as we'd all like to think this is only press hysteria, for once I think the fourth estate have undertsood the severity of the situation from inside the EFL. As I say, it doesn't bode well for us.

I’ll be extremely surprised if they move the date of the play off final. The World Cup starts shortly after FFS.

Some of you lot need to stop reading Boro freaks on social media pretending to be ITK.

Which they could give us the 36,900 in the first place.  For the cup semi, once I qualified for a ticket all I could get was cheap ones at the back.  Then when they released some more, I was able to get better ones and I had to sell my original 2

Assume we'll be West side of Wembley and have all our usual pubs, regular visitors now

Gunna be very very tough game. Had the better of us twice this season already. One of those weird teams that never seems that good, but they're super clinical.  Overperformed their xG all season.

We should have too much for them, but a huge one off game.

Peretz

Bree THB Stephens Manning

Downes Jander

Matsuki Azaz Scienza (if fit)

Larin

Possibly THB will be suspended, and Scienza might miss out.

Could also make a case for Wood, Fellows and Stewart starting. Think Charles will start on the bench.

It'll happen at Wembley, otherwise Wembley would likely sue them for lost revenue. It may be delayed though.

Why? Would Hull be happy with a delay? It will go ahead as scheduled. We will play in it and any sanctions will come later.

I think I'd be tempted to start Downes, Charles and Jander.

Looked alright when we moved into that yesterday, gives a bit more control of the midfield in a big occasion. Hopefully Stephens is fit as Wood on the ball is a bit of a roadblock for our build-up.

Peretz
Bree - THB - Stephens - Manning
Charles - Downes - Jander
Azaz - Scienza
Either

Ticket info released this afternoon and sales start tomorrow morning.

Apparently tickets will be for the Play Off Final at Wembley between Southampton or Middlesborough FC and Hull FC. Seems the tickets will also carry a rider stating buyer has no right of refund should their preferred team not appear.

Must win game.

I need 12 months off from Middlesbrough nutters, could not face playing them again next season

I'd be tempted to play wood over stepens, given a)he's up to speed b)i expect hull with mcburnie to go aerial. may be taken out of ours hands given the THB situation.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was a 5:30pm kick off. Scottish cup final is at 3pm (assume Sky will want maximum viewers).

This and if the worse does happen, then Hull would go up instead. There is no way anything will change before the final.

If it turns out we have been spying, then we did not gain any advantage for the semi final as the contents was deleted. So Middlesbrough are not the victim here, we have just broken a rule, it did not have any impact on Boro so they do not need compensation.
