I would guess that JWP will most likely be moving at the very end of the window. West Ham will look to get rid, but want to not give him away, and he/his agent will be looking for the best deal possible. We may have reached out to him or his agent, or the other way around, but I doubt anything concrete is just around the corner.

He's a decent prospect and did well for them this season - reckon he'll be one to hear more about in coming seasons - not clear he is what we need right now however.

We're clearly a long way off anything getting set in stone at this stage, but I think it's worth pointing out that signing him would put our squad on a solid footing going into the new season. I think it would put us right in the mix in the battle for promotion.
