trousers Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Get in!!!! Switched off for the last 10 mins... Yes!! 2 1
die Mannyschaft Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Bloody hell England actually played played very well tonight, attacking was good and defending at all costs with 10 men 3
Saint Pete Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) That is an Epic win, one of the best ever for England given the circumstances and everything against them on the night. Well done lads!! Edited 6 hours ago by Saint Pete 6
AlexLaw76 Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Pickford brilliant, Bellingham Brilliant, Gordon very good, defence mostly excellent. Edited 6 hours ago by AlexLaw76 1
whelk Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Most excited I have been at 4am on a Monday morning. Although there was that time I was kidnapped by the Swedish netball team 4

Sheaf Saint Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago PA playing It's Coming Home. Don't think the DJ is going to be popular with the home fans! 1 1
whelk Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Imagine being there - lucky lads are never forgetting this one 2
SNSUN Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Makes up for the spanking that England had by Mexico in Mike Bassett. 3

Polaroid Saint Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Did okay, I thought. 😆 What! A! Game! Has to be the most exciting and satisfying England game in decades. 1
Whitey Grandad Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago So...Mexico are going home. Oh. They already are. 1 1
Disco Stu Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Well done England. Put a proper shift in and should be proud of themselves. Not sure how I'm meant to sleep now. My heart's been pumping for the last 20 minutes.
Sheaf Saint Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I'm not a fan of Wonderwall (or Oasis in general), but if it means we never have to put up with Sweet fucking Caroline ever again then I'm okay with that. 8
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Great effort to hold on. As Saka was replaced, I wondered if Gordon could have gone. Just for him to earn the penalty, that made the difference. He and Rice were closing down and blocking right to the whistle. Lots of hard work to keep focused under a ton of pressure. No play acting from Mexico, when they knew they had to get a goal. Bellingham also superb. Getting Burn on, also proved to be important. 3

SNSUN Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Fair play to Tuchel, the defensive subs were excellent. Burn, Stones, even Djed was half decent. Also Rice was on a booking for the second minute and managed that brilliantly. I think if that had gone to extra time we'd have lost. Thankfully the Mexicans ran of ideas. I fancy Quesadillas tomorrow now. 1

Elmore Saint Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Get in England!! Bulldog performance. Mind the door don’t smack you on the arse as you leave Mexico…. Fucking hate Latin football.

SNSUN Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Jordan Henderson injured himself and he wasn't even playing. Fell over an advertising hoarding and was stretchered off. 3
SNSUN Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) This game had everything. Great entertainment. And now... bed. If the adrenaline lets me sleep. Edited 6 hours ago by SNSUN
Disco Stu Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Henderson has somehow got both booked and injured without playing a single minute. What a contribution 🙃 3

Sure he has played RB for Newcastle before, could do a lot worse than putting him in there for the next one, not sure why he hasn't been talked about more as an option as wouldn't let anyone down in my opinion. 1

If you're in a battle, there's nobody better to call on than Dan Burn. He's very underrated. 2
SNSUN Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Norway then. Haaland vs Kane. Rice vs Odegaard. Will be a banger.
rallyboy Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago What an epic night! And I can now say out loud what I'd be quietly thinking for an hour or two....Mexico aren't very good and didn't really trouble us. 🤫 Get in there - not sure I can sleep now.
Saint Pete Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Was gonna say we will struggle in next one after the amount of effort and energy we put into that but at least the Norway QF is not til Saturday evening so decent recovery time. 👍 1
trousers Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Tuchel having a massive pop at the officials... That's not going to go down well with our friends at FIFA, is it...?
trousers Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Sounds like Jordan Henderson may have broken his wrist? (Reading between the lines of the Tuchel interview)

BH_Saint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Now what's going to happen with the red card? Surely it has to be suspended for a year the same as the USA one? 1
adrian lord Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Fantastic. A lot of ghosts and demons put to bed with that epic win. Impeccable performance and effort. The penalty against Kane was soft as a FIFA brown envelope. 1
