I've often wondered what they'd do. No chance of any sort of bubble, no chance of it not being on the Saturday of the bank holiday weekend. Imagine 35,000 from each team scattered all across London, it would be a complete and utter warzone.

Nah, they'd be their usual selves gobbing off in the build up about what they're going to do to the scummers on and off the pitch. When it came to it they'd be hanging around waiting for police escorts, hiding in pubs and on trains, drinking miles away from anywhere with lots of pictures all over social media of Pompey looking for scum etc, in the event they did bump into us they'd be safely behind police lines but giving it the trampoline shouting "come on then". Then for years endless fairy tales about how they smashed scummers all over London, scum never showed etc etc

Not a lot they could do really beyond encourage certain travel routes and have loads of police at tube stations etc.

Imagine they'd tell skates to go via Victoria instead of Waterloo but can't actually force them.

They'll drop off substantially anyway and probably end up lower midtable. A one off play off game at St Mary's midweek if we finished 5th and 8th would be fun though.

What’s prompted Ronaldo to retire today suddenly?

I wonder if he’s been told he won’t be selected for PT squad and is saving face?

Ronaldo doesn't take well to playing second fiddle to anyone. I remember the aggro that Gareth Bale got from him when he first went to Real Madrid. Ronaldo has been world class in his time and he has kept himself super fit but time catches up with everyone. He would rather make his own decision to go now than to become a bench warmer.

Its a brilliant league isn't it, so many teams in the mix, Skates starting to look like genuine play off contenders

Wolves seem to have a knack of picking up wins, good bet for a top 2 spot

It’s class, topsy turvy and anyone can beat anyone.

I do think there are some false positions in there though:

Stoke - regularly score screamers and win by a single goal despite not doing much else. Unreal run but unsustainable

Swansea - really good start but being found out whenever they play anyone up the top end of the table. Will be top 8 I’m sure but not in the autos conversation

Pompey - like Stoke, they’ve won a lot of games that were a coin flip and don’t actually play that well, but still find a way to win. Won’t last. Hopefully their form will drop off with their usual Xmas/January meltdown

West Ham - you’d think Scott Parker will implement his boring brand of football enough for them to tighten up at the back, while having enough individual quality to score goals. Will probably still be in the mix for top 2

Just seen that Bournemouth beat Sparta Prague tonight, having already beaten one of the Milan sides, and have a fixture to come against Hapoel Be’er Sheva. Quite the coincidental set of fixtures.

Whilst I have been enjoying Saints winning games again, I must say I never thought I'd see the day when we are playing in the second tier while Bournemouth are beating Sparta Prague away. Got to say fair play to them and Brighton too.

Fair play to them. No resentment at all. Good to have south coast teams doing well (apart from the Blue Few), but its fucking galling to see how we've dropped from our place as the Kings of the South Coast.

Derby 1 down against Bolton at HT.

Think theres a strong chance they will have a new manager when we play them after the international break.

2-1 Derby now. Could be good for us, might keep Eustace in a job. Both of these are garbage, absolute travesty we didn’t put Bolton away

If you could post a similar comment about Watford tomorrow it would be ideal 😆

Haha although when isn't there a strong chance Watford will be about to appoint a new manager!?

Other than us 🙄 Watford have only beaten Lincoln, Preston and Charlton this season. Any decent team have beaten them quite easily.

No, he isn’t. Such a weird comment. Look at his achievements and awards and then base your ‘he’s shit’ comment on that. Do you understand football?!

He's got a wonderful career behind him, no doubt about it.

Pele is arguably the greatest of all time. Doesn't mean I'd want him starting for Saints v Preston today though.

We shouldn't have beaten Arsenal but that's football. Wrexham were about 19th when they beat Boro in their last game, West Ham lost at home to Charlton, who are currently 21st.

Fuckin Stoke making them look like Real Madrid at the moment.

How on earth have Skates ended up in top 8. And Stoke. This makes a mockery of other clubs spending large on players.

Apart from Shade who played for Eastleigh none of the Skates looked like football players at St Mary's

How are a team from Oxford playing in the Northern league? 😂

Nothing between Wrexham and wolves. Wrexham better side if anything but both pretty poor. What with them beating Middlesbrough and drawing with wolves our loss their doesn’t look so bad even though we threw it away

Hmmm should we be worried about Norwich....?

Yes we should be shitting ourselves about every team that wins a few games in a row.

The best time for another team to go on a run is after we beat them.

Like Pompey have. However now 2-1 down at home to Stoke who are now top……At least that’s stopped the messages I was getting from Pompey fans, whilst they were momentarily above us…..!

Bristol City xG: 1.37
Norwich xG: 1.63

Looks like everything they hit just went in. Bet there's a few screamers in there.

Their football team or what they’re doing to the general pool?

Both, but from experience the latter is scary as hell.
