My prediction last week was a battering for us - So, I’m very glad to say that I could not of got it more wrong! 😃

Superb performance

So, today I’m going for us to get battered again - hoping for the same outcome 🤞

Matchday but very quiet on here - optimistic about this, they're playing well but we're looking strong, home win for me.

Ticket Exchange now open for this, club unusually announced this with a couple of hundred tickets left in Block 20 and only a few single seats elsewhere. Sun out, full house, matchday...what's not to like?

We really struggle to sell that block 20, always the last to sell out.  not really rowdy enough for lads who want to stand and sing but too near the away fans for families , club should look at making blocks 20 /21 cheapest seats in the ground , make it more appealing

Anyone know of any streams that will work over here at Easter island where I am today? Just passing though on my way to Cape Horn, thought it’d be a good spot to catch the game.

@trousers where are you today?

They normally show the games in The Dog and Duck in Anekena. Larry the landlord normally happy to put the games on. Big Utd fan though.

Sounds like Turkish is a ****ing awful navigator.

Shame about Jander and Larin for that matter. But as we learnt from protecting Swansea's crocked forward probably for the best.

Barnaby is back!

U21 player. Hard tackling midfielder, highly thought of. Cover for Jander today

Williams hasn't stood out like a sore thumb when he's come on before.

He hasn't disgraced himself either. But with Downes on the bench as well I doubt he'll get on the pitch today.

I really hope keeping Jander out is just saving him for the next couple of away games and he hasn't had a setback in his recovery 🤞

The very Saintsy thing to do today after last week is to lose.

Going for a 1-1 today, feels like a draw kind of day. But it is the mark of a team going for autos (which bearing in mind we'd be 2nd currently without the deduction) to win games against teams in decent form, which QPR are. Going to be tough today especially as we are without our first choice CM pairing and striker but JWP brings the experience, Cam seems to play better alongside him and Dobbin has looked much improved of late. Need a good performance from Leo today I think if we are to win. The back 4 and Dan should keep it tight at the back.

Isn't the next international break about two weeks time?

Starts next weekend.

-----------------------

Can we fit a domestic league in-between international football? This is a question that will need answering soon.

After last weekend I'm loathe to write us off. Larin, Jander and Downes are big misses from the side. But, players are stepping up and finding their feet. Plus we're at home.

Then again I couldn't see us not beating Wrexham and I've paid for a video pass to watch it and a win firmly puts us in the autos conversation.

It's almost like all of these indicators are some kind of superstition.

Dobbin completes his redemption arc with a hat trick.

Dobbin goes back to in effective.

I'll come back and delete as appropriate later.

If Downs is good enough for the bench why not start him and take him off later if not fully fit?

Because you’re then forced into a substitution before the game has even started and have one less opportunity to make tactical changes.
