Fulham vs Saints (LC) - Match Thread

Any hints as to the formation? Maybe 4-2-2-2 with JWP at LB:

Macca

Cedric-Danso-Bednarek-JWP

Hoj-Romeu

Djenepo-Boufal

Redders-Obafemi

Something like that?

I think this sounds most likely, though I would think JWP at RB and Cedric playing LB?

I thought it looked like Ralph had put out a strong side for the cup but so far Fulham's second string ( including a fullback and midfielder CB pairing) is outplaying us quite comprehensively....

I am amazed if anyone is shocked

We were pretty terrible in the run-in last season, appalling squad balance and have been just as bad this season so far.

of course, I will get slated for the above but it is painfully obvious

You are ignoring the Liverpool game then but as you keep telling us we are a bottom 3 side so what are you expecting tic a tac footie?

Solent think it's 4-4-2 but I think that's because whispering Dave thinks 4-2-2-2 is unatural foreign stuff.

I say 4-2-2-2 but should note: Djenepo is pinched in and playing deeper than Boufal on the right. It's a 4-3-3 adjacent atm.

You are completely correct.

It’s almost Hughes esq the way we are setting up,playing devoid of ideas.

As I said after the Liverpool game....I think it’s one win in 8 carrying on from last season.
