I'm hoping for a change in fortune for Connolly. He's been getting half chances lately and could do with a goal for his confidence.

COYS.

Good shout. After seeing Guly's performance on Tuesday, I think he's due a goal or three too.

I won the battle of the two live matches against my missus. She's agreed to watch the Saints game live on Sky if I give her my SaintsPlayer log in so she can listen to the Norwich commentary on Norwich PLayer. w00T

I'm stuck in Cambridge today, anyone know a pub that will be showing the game here?

I would try Kings Street or the centre. Most with sky have a board outside showing which matches. With Norwich being on at the same time you probably need to find one with multiple screen. I may go out for a wander round Cambridge this afternoon so can have a look while I am out.

Thanks very much! Was going to head over to the maypole and ask them, if not, I'll be the one sitting in Jesus green watching it on my phone!

Bench

Normally take pre match info with a pinch of salt - but in your case it always seems pretty kosher.

After Tues night it would have been harsh to drop Chappers. His combatative style might be suited fore the early barrage we can expect, and what a player to come on after an hour when their defence is getting tired .... and thinking they've done pretty well to hold us to only scoring 3 goals ( 2 of which were a Lambo pen and screaming 30 yard free kick), and what more can you say about Chaplows impersonation of CMFG at Ipswich as he beat half the team before rounding the keeper and slotting it in.

2nd lunchtime glass of pinot grigio hitting the spot - the late ko is going to be a problem methinks - no thanks to those *****s at Al Jism who are showing the game tomorrow and monday night FFS.

Hoping for a crystal clear streaming like last weeks - that would be nice.

Pinot Grigo? FFS what sort of tactical change is THAT?

And anyway, the sun in nowhere near the Yard Arm yet.

You should be like me - off down to Physio, a quick swim in the pool and an hour in the gym.

Which I'll do tomorrow I promise, I always keep my new year resolutions.

Thinking of trying a new tactic myself tonight, start off with my personally imported Sam Adams Boston Lager and leave an OSH on the bench. Late KO screws with the whole dinner thing though, to eat before or after, that is the question.

And again, Al Jiz barstewards.

Gaddamt I should have done a work & family run back to Blighty this weekend and been there (or at least in a pub instead) of JudderVision again. But no, had to stay in to wait for the courier to deliver the 2 free tickets to Britney Spears that the GF won. (It gets worse, she expects ME to go)

All of THAt depression BEFORE we get close to kickoff, cripes better have a lay down or I'll have an alpsattack

Just back from work after being up since 0430 - just fancied a quick quaffable few glasses of wine before a quick afternoon nap (Gym? Feck Off!!)

Dinner/Tea will be Sweet & Sour Chicken ala Eric - my youngest daughter and a school friend are out for Half term so with Mrs EoA incapacitated in UK it's up to me to feed and entertain them, but don't worry that will not impinge on my Saturday drinking and footie ;)

Actually it will a bit - my daughter has taken up more than a passing interest in Saints and might keep bobbing in for a score update - WTF will she think I'm up to if the computer screen is full of half naked nuns FFS :scared: Eeeek.

Nuns - easy to explain.

Dune's Burka Porn (which let's face it did get a result or 1,357 amongst the posters & lurkers on the match thread) - well THAT is a tough sell.

Oh you know that never ending project thingy? get the diaries cleared there is some beer to be drunked later this week.

If we don't get three points today this will only prove that our players cannot cope with being at the top. Also slightly worried if we cannot beat yet another top 10 team. Still, should finish 17th and while were at t, bring back Glenn Hoddle next year !

Give it up, you are so poor at being a WUM.

Phew. Just got back to the boat in Kas, Turkey after 20 miles walking in the high hills here. in time, I thought to listen to the game on Saints Player. Only to find the gsame doesn't start for another 2 hours! But does that mean it is being televised? If it's on Sky I might even have time for a shower and a walk into town to find a pub that's showing it.

Gutted i'm going to miss this one, think us Saints fans will create a great atmosphere today. Unfortunately i'm working from 5pm so I won't be able to listen to the commentary either! My Reading supporting mate reckons it will be 0-0, he says our away form is pretty dire and Reading are on the up (unbeaten in 6 games). It will be difficult, Jimmy Kebe could cause us a few problems down the right hand side. Lets hope Fox can keep him covered, otherwise we could be in trouble. Simon Church is another one to watch, quite good in the air and also quite quick. Good finisher too. Will be a great game i'm sure!

My prediction: Saints 3 Reading 1

Lambert 42

Church 58

Hammond 71

Lallana 86
