STOKE SIGN MOLINA

Stoke have signed midfielder Sergio Molina from Real Madrid on a three-year contract.

The 19-year-old is a graduate of Real's youth system, and captained them at each level from Under-10 to Under-19.

Molina becomes Stoke's ninth close-season signing following the arrivals of Ibrahim Afellay, Philipp Wollscheid, Jakob Haugaard, Joselu, Marco van Ginkel, Glen Johnson, Shay Given and Moha.

GNABRY SET FOR ALBION LOAN

West Brom are set to sign fit-again midfielder Serge Gnabry from Arsenal on a season-long loan deal, according to Press Association Sport.

The 20-year-old midfielder is expected to link up with the Baggies on Thursday.

Gnabry has recovered from a serious knee injury which forced him to miss all of last season and he has not played for Arsenal since March 2014.

The German has made 18 appearances for the Gunners since joining from Stuttgart in 2011 and scored his only goal in their 2-1 win at Swansea in 2013.

Only a one year extension, and the word on the street up here is that it is designed to prevent speculation over his future this season as Managers heading into the final year of their deal is never a good thing (as Saints know too well).

Doesn't really change much .

Fair enough, if it's only one year.

Quite funny watching Utd's mini-meltdown on RedCafe, after the announcement that De Gea will not play tomorrow as the 'transfer window is still open'. So he's going then, basically. And LVG fell out with Valdes who has been pushed to one side.

Luke Shaw doing a transfer of his own. Some MUFC fan went out and committed the cardinal sin of getting a shirt printed before the numbers came out.

Shaw then moved from 3 to 23. The fan tweeted a photo of his shirt (not to Shaw) - he saw it, and private messaged him to replace it.

They teach them well at Saints.

Seemed like a really bad time to fall out with Valdes.

Deary me, just as I thought they were going in the right direction. Horrible player, for a horrible club.

Does this mean Alex Song is going elsewhere…?
