Dragan has control over everything.  He controls Sport Republic holding limited which has control over all the other companies in the pyramid.  The trail stops at him on company's house and the buck stops with him for SFC.  Ankerson is listed as an 'officer' on all those companies but Dragan has the voting rights, no one else (if he chooses to implement all policies from the top down).

Yes, he has a big majority of the shares but that doesn't necessarily mean he can do what he wants. There will be agreements in place between him and the other Sport Republic investors (Wankerson, Kraft etc) that deal with sale of shares and which probably give those guys more rights than a typical minority shareholder.

As close to confirmation as possible that they're using this football club a guinea pig for their warped philosophies and 'research'. How this level of self-indulgent risk taking is allowable under the football authorities 'fit and proper' ownership criteria is baffling....

Surely, at best, this is utter contempt for us HUMANS that support the club and, at worst, it's gross negligence....?

In the interest of fairness, it's worth pointing out that this quote was actually in reference to his time at Midtjilland.

But I don't think it's an unreasonable stretch to assume that the same philosophy applies to his interest in Saints.

Ah, ok... I took BarberSaint's post at face value and naturally assumed it was a recent quote. 

But, yes, I agree, it still resonates with other snippets of info about how the club is being run (e.g. scouts not needing to actually watch players play).

Maybe the hierarchy could enlighten us on their ownership philosophy if they're not still using this Midtjilland model... But I guess that's unlikely given it would entail communicating with the fans openly on a regular basis...
