Isn’t the action. to remove them from the platform?

agree the outrage and headline grabbing  and earnest reporting is over the top. Of course these scum are almost certainly dysfunctional and should be straightforward to report the abuse and the companies permanently ban if clear cut.

Sky and BBC report it like they’ve uncovered, and are highlighting, some sinister wider movement on the rise when mostly messed up teenagers.

Apparently Captan Tom’s family were also getting abused after he died so there is no depths some cunts won’t go to.

liked Rashford’s response the other day to his abuse. Perfect reply.

Is that the response they want? To have something reported and then have those people banned? I don't think it is as that mostly happens anyway. What they want is for the abuse not to occur in the first place but that's an impossibility and those in charge need to understand that.

And I agree, Rashford's twitter writer has played a blinder again :)

Why is that weird? He clearly is appalled and wants to highlight.

Which he did, when it happened.  He even reported it to the police.

He then wrote a victim statement 'forgiving' the lad.

How does re-posting the 'crime' a year later help anyone?  Would you keep the knife and bring it out at dinner parties if, heaven forbid, one of your kids was stabbed to death?

Of course a state educated black footballer couldn’t possibly craft such a dignified response.

The stabbing analogy is quite ridiculous. Even for you😀

Yes it's a daft analogy, but to be fair to Weston, there is an inconsistency from Wright. On one hand he's really upset by it, but he then puts the screen shots into the public domain a year or so later dredging it all back up, only then to forgive the kid, but is then outraged when his forgiveness is factored into the sentence.

If it's really about inclusion everyone should get the job, like non-competitive sport where there are no losers....a great preparation for life.  😨

Got to be the cushiest job around too. Everyone will do what you tell them as they’d be scared of being seen as obstructive. It’ll be like the Health and Safety officers that started being created about 15 years ago, lots of very self righteous people getting paid a lot of money to do not very much other than poke their noses in everywhere.

... the ocean is currently under investigation for it's role in facilitating the slave trade. Allowing slave ships to cross over it is seen in many circles as colluding in the  barbaric slave trade. Representative lawyers are seeking landmark damages claims against the ocean, which, if successful, could result in a torrent of copycat claims and could potentially bankrupt parts of the ocean, with the Atlantic most at risk. Lawyers for the Atlantic ocean are declining to comment....

Did anything come of that or once the outage had died down people actually realised how pathetic it was and got on with their lives?

Did anything come from that PSG game where the match got stopped due to racism? It all seems to have gone very quiet, which is strange given at the time there was uproar.

Zaha also going to stop taking the knee.

From I've heard and seen about Zaha he wouldn't ever be happy whatever you did for him ! Having said that the knee thing has probably run it's course and a better effort by the football people in charge to address inequality is now required.

Ridiculous.

They’re also dragging The man in black into it as well. One of the least judgmental, least racist blokes that’s ever walked the Earth, a man who spent his whole life showing compassion to the downtrodden, has to have a pre program warning because he sang in front of the confederate flag. What’s up with these people?

Yeah you're right. It's far more likely they are outraged rugby loving chartered accountants from Wigan than Chelsea fans.

There isnt any evidence they are football fans, whilst what you say might is true at the moment its just an assumption.

What has that got to do with the other incidents?

Nothing. That's my point. Unless there is certified video evidence of somebody saying racist stuff and then confirming they are a football fan then we should put all our efforts into condemning a fellow poster on Saintsweb rather than the racism itself. Its not even like football even has a racism problem. Eh?

Brilliant!

So a non-football fan accidentally started watching football game and got so angry at something one of the players did they decided to abuse them on twitter.
