I'd imagine there'll be plenty of Palace fans heading down the A3 and coming from that direction on the M27. Hopefully the start of a miserable evening for them. As if.

The player you’ve just compared to Manning and Smallbone has been playing PL football for 13 season and made around 250 top flight appearances for clubs including Liverpool. Whilst his fitness has often been questioned, when he is fit he is a far, far, far better player than Manning and Smallbone will ever be.

I think people underestimate just how substandard most of our players are. Palace may have some PL dross but many of our players are midtable Championship standard.

So many in the first XI that'd struggle to make any of the other 19 EPL benches, some would barely make it into a championship first XI.
