Saint_lambden Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Spertsyan update - he and the club president meeting tomorrow to finalise things. He wants the move and club seemingly happy now with terms of offer from Saints (unless they move goalposts which apparently happened once earlier in the week), both just want to part on good terms and make sure each other is happy before all confirmed. Matthew Le God Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 21 minutes ago, Tommy Mulgrew said: No thanks; he’s between 1” and 2” taller than Wellington and not even as tall as 5’9”. I know it does not matter so much for a winger but if we are to get another Brazilian I’d rather get one as tall as Guly. And one who contributes as much to our promotion as Guly did but Spors and Lederer should know more about him than I do; perhaps he will. Of all the things to make a decision on for a winger, why height? How about some things that actually matter for his role? Across the top 5 leagues in Europe he comes out very highly in these areas. 2

Krasnodar play on Sunday, will be interesting to see if he's in the squad or not Edited 2 hours ago by Saint Scott

Eduard Spertsyan will meet with his president, Sergey Galitsky tomorrow (16/08) to clarify his future. The player wishes to join Southampton. And Krasnodar is satisfied with the offer from the Saints. Both parties want to part on good terms. 2

Yeah he also said they could change the terms at the last minute. I'm not sure this bloke knows as much as he likes to suggest.
woodsaint1 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago You just know that all this delay/posturing will result in somebody more appealing swooping in at the 11th hour to sign him. Brighton are letting O'Riley go it seems so may be on the lookout for a creative midfielder. Or Leeds who appear to target the same players as us.
