Newcastle's first off for Wissa was £25m.

Final offer was £55m.

Shows that Saints did well to turn down the initial offers for Dibling and Fernandes.

Worried that palace might go for THB now they’ve sold Guehi…

Think they'll be aiming higher but realistically too late to sign anyone.

Surprised nobody has come in for Baz.

Think you may have spelt 'deeply disappointed' incorrectly.

Looks as though Leicester are going to hold on to Fatawu. Surprised no Prem club has come in for him.

His long-term ACL probably put bed to any moves this summer, he was out all last season pretty much. They'll see how he does this year, may well be some interest in January.

Yeah, good point.

I’d take The Tomiyasu (RB) and Brownhill (CM), but we aren’t getting either 😂

Their wages would be ridiculous

There are at least half a dozen forwards on that list that I would pick before any of our current front men

Nathan Redmond? 🙂

Obafemi off to the German 2nd Division from Burnley on loan.

Another one who doesn’t stay anywhere long.

If he's in the German second division, he could end up back here after falling into our trawling net. 🙂

Brownhill just rejected Wolves (and Leicester) as Al-Shabab in Saudi have offered him north of £100k per week.

Mindboggling.

To be fair, if the main concern for him is money, that is a life-changing amount, so...

£5.2 million a year and extras, set him up for life. Maybe I should have tried harder in P.E. but I loved the pies. 😁

Christ, that SSN reporter camped at Tottenham is a right plum.

Just what i was thinking. Is that the best they can do. Has Michael Dawson had a load of Botox? He looks like a shiny rubber man

Exactly what I hoped would happen with Livramento which is why I was dismayed to see us playing him in the last game of the season.

Some keepers with a few miles left on them in that list.

Mouez Hassan knows his way around St Mary's.

It ain’t over when it’s over. Current free agent list.

For some reason, I always thought Craig Dawson would eventually play for us. Our paths seems to have crossed so many times over the years, and his progression and regression from his Rochdale days onwards seemed to be pretty close to your own. Looks like it won't happen.

Some of the names on that list is mad. Kurt Zouma cost 30 odd million only a few years ago, Christian Eriksson still a really good player, Samual Umtiti was one people kept banging on about a few years ago like he was realistic then he went to Barcelona. Ziyech was another one WE HAD TO SIGN. Can only assume their wage demands put clubs off.

Idrissa Doumbia is on there too, we were linked with back when Hassenhuttl was here. 27 now, DM, get it done Saints!

Under an hour left. So a good time to remind everyone to watch their fingers when that window SLAMS shut.

In Saints news, how many games does Baz have to play, before Pep realises he's the chosen one? Stunned they've gone and signed someone else.

"Wildest transfer window in years" say Sky.

...why? Nothing happening today is unexpected and there isn't a huge amount anyway.

Premier league wise it’s had the biggest stories and surprises in years.

Not much unexpected but I can see a few deal sheets going in tonight. To be fair it has been a bit better than previous years'.

They'd still get a fair few quid for him in January. Maybe not £35 million worth but it's an option and they'd get to keep him for half a season.
