I am thinking along the lines of, here do me a favour, pay a side that closely resembles what I am left with next season, so he can get an idea of what he needs? Would be a very sensible thing to do.

Yes, as I said, a team that will closely resemble next season. On the basis that we can probably replace those two with very good quality championship level players for next season. Basically we should be able to sign the Ramsdale and Fernandes equivalent for champ level. The rest could well be on to stay and any new manager expected to work with them.
