Sorry - what just happened???

Ah, @Paul Chuckle was the ‘friend’ who told me yesterday he was gone. He has previous but rarely posts on here these days.

I was just doffing my cap to him. He belongs in the CoT.

Boring would be an improvement on pathetic.

In which case we're probably best to bring back Russell Martin. He did far better with a very comparable squad.

Hopefully the delay in announcing was the club sorting his replacement.

Thing is - assuming he is gone - I’d normally be pleased/relieved in these circumstances. I’m so broken by these cunts that I just feel nothing other than massive trepidation re what’s up next.

The squad he inherited wasn't as damaged or as bloated as this one

I heard a rumour about Cooper from someone withinks to the club. No idea if true. Maybe we just sounded him out.

Doesn't he play 5 at the back?

Cooper joined Brøndby in September

Yeah, they had a great season the year before.

So if this team was so damaged I presume you want Still to stay?

Gotcha. I thought he just did confused emojis to MLG posts. Anyway, hope he’s got this one right though tbh see my above post to gauge how pleased I am if he has.

No he wouldn’t, and I wouldn’t say a squad with Che Adams, KWP, Stu Armstrong, Janny B,  a not over the hill  Ryan Fraser and  Brookes was comparable.

To be clear I’m not advocating for O’Neil

Now we're talking.

What an absolute fuck up by Sport Republic.

But we have a decent squad for someone.

Another fuck up in an endless conveyor belt of fuck ups. Let’s see which out of the box manager they bring in this time

Keep refreshing X waiting for news. Nothing yet but apparently Charles Leclerc just got engaged, so that's nice.

Is he the guy from ‘allo “allo? He must be  about 135 by now, fair play

Haven’t you got to go and milk some chickens or sheer some pigs instead of getting everyone at it???

Yes, the confused emojis are his main body of work 😂

I believe he’s got it right and like you, I’ll be very glad when it’s confirmed. 🤞🏼

I don't think anyone could survive being where we are after all the money spent. Funny that Spors is the one making the statements because he takes a hell of a lot of the blame as well. Signing Downs as our main striker and giving Stephens a 3 year deal and picking him as the main bit of experience at the back are the worst two decisions of the season so far.

Come on, the team RM took over was better than this one!

And no, I thought Still had to go. I said so a week or two ago.

Saints confirm Will Still's departure. Ruben Martinez, Clement Lemaitre and Carl Martin also exit. Under-21s boss Tonda Eckert will take charge on an interim basis. Saints travel to QPR on Wednesday evening.

David Ornstein reporting that Eckert is in the frame for the permanent job too. I had heard similar and mentioned it yesterday. He was brought in the summer with half an eye on the main job if it went tits up.

Fucks sake. He had to go. Clearly the players weren't playing for him, but what a fucking shit show from our club.

Players better fucking step up now against QPR. No more excuses.
