Monk Posted June 5 Posted June 5 We've recently been pulling together some of our favourite photos/images in football for a print workshop we're hosting through work. Which has pulled up some absolute gems Materazzi/Rui Costa, Nike's Joga Bonito campaign, R9 and Baggio. Some are in 4K and some are the grainy/edgy polaroid style you'll find on Instagram or some Classic Football Shirt wannabe shop wall. So what's your favourite(s) Saints related image you've been able to capture or just pinched from the web? (cue the Lucy Pinder in a shirt and Ian Dowie photo). 3
RedArmy Posted June 5 Posted June 5 It’s a shame the photos have been expunged from the internet but Jim Branning having a sing-a-long on the pitch in 2006 was a special one. 5
bangkoksaint Posted June 5 Posted June 5 As a 50+ years Saints supporter those photos make me immensely proud. Then I think back to the season that we have just been served up ……… 4 1

SNSUN Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Well you did day my favourite Saints pic! The one time I've managed to get her wearing Saints colours and she has my shirt on backwards. She now claims she supports Liverpool because they're the best. Don't worry, I'll win her over long term or I'll have failed as a father. 8

EssEffCee Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Yeah I think it might be a disability section there. Always been my favourite part of that photo. 1

That's right mate, there was no disabled area available at the away end, any Saints who wanted to go were allocated a wheelchair space in the Fratton End, fair play to that chap 2
Monk Posted June 5 Author Posted June 5 They won’t have to endure it for next season. There’s now disability seating in the away end. Bravo to that chap… he would’ve had venomous pelters for 90 minutes that evening. 1

Channons Windmill Posted June 6 Posted June 6 (edited) (Though I was trying to find the picture of Ivan Golac scoring against WBA - it was even centre spread in an edition of WSC in the past few years - but have failed so far) Edited June 6 by Channons Windmill

warsash saint Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Me & my late old man were sat on the front row of the bench seats right behind Golac. I swear I have never seen a ball move so much in the air as that shot. 2

I saw it from the Family Centre, it was a hell of a shot - it’s on YouTube thankfully - would have look amazing from the benches looking at the angle again… I’m now very determined to find that picture Edited June 6 by Channons Windmill 3
