Watch Boro beat Sheff Wednesday 7-0 next week! 😂

Can score a few more, but not more than 4

Yeah. I don’t think they’ll win all of there’s 2 wins and a draw.

Millwall have only won 2 of their last 6 games. There's a fair chance they'll drop points. No games are easy

Draw would be ok right?

Not a huge amount of difference between a draw or a Boro win for us realistically. Need to win all our games and hope Ipswich drop points in the game in hand either way.

We’d still need them to drop more points aside from losing to us, but it does take goal difference out of the equation if they do drop those points.

Goal difference advantage isn’t that big for Ipswich, Boro win puts 3rd firmly in our own hands, especially if we beat Ipswich by two for a four goal swing.

He was hugging him and pulling him. That is a foul.

Sounds more like a good time.

I can't decide what is the best result for us, but realised I don't have to!

Overall think draw is best result for us, keeps top 2 possible, and helps with top 4.

I suppose the top 4 angle is one way of looking at it but makes top 2 less likely than with a Boro win.

No romance in the game nowadays

I fancy West Brom to take a point off them, with a potential points deduction looming over them they’ll need to keep going as much as possible.

So all in all I think a draw is good for us, keeps Boro at arms length too.

Two results outside our control needed now, with the added bonus that goal difference is now irrelevant as long as we keep our results going and those two results we need come in.

The one extra point really makes no difference, 1 or 2 points better than us is of little consequences, whereas if they had won it would have been much more difficult. I think a draw was the best result for us.

With Ipswich’s home record & the run Middlesbrough have been on (they haven’t won a game for over a month) a draw is a pretty decent result for us. Better than could really be expected. They’ve 3 tough away games and they have a piss poor away record for a team finishing second.

Indeed. Even if Ipswich had lost today we’d still be relying on them not winning their game in hand so I consider today a decent result for us as it keeps us ahead of Boro.

Dunno about that. If they lost it would be within our hands to finish above Ipswich if we score lots of goals. Now it isn't, we need them to drop points in another match.

Unless I'm looking at the wrong table.

We would have been level on points so they could win all their games apart from against us and we could still have finished above them. Albeit we might have been unlikely to have overturned the GD deficit.
