DellBlockH Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Did the wind change when Kieran McKenna was trying out that weird lip twist one day?

Sheaf Saint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Mcateer going off injured. I really, really, absolutely genuinely hope he's not out for the rest of the season now 😉 1

Toadhall Saint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I know it was offside but great save from the Boro keeper.
Toadhall Saint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Wouldn’t have thought there would be a lot of extra time either.
James G Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 15 minutes ago, Toadhall Saint said: Yeah. I don’t think they’ll win all of there’s 2 wins and a draw. Millwall have only won 2 of their last 6 games. There's a fair chance they'll drop points. No games are easy

benjii Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Didn't Ipswich get a soft pelanty at Norwich? Feels like they have the luck at the moment. 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Ipswich have only scored from penalties this season

Sheaf Saint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Ipswich fans singing our song now 🫤 Edited 4 hours ago by Sheaf Saint

RedArmy Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 2 weekends in a row they’ve had a soft penalty. who have they paid?

Goal difference advantage isn’t that big for Ipswich, Boro win puts 3rd firmly in our own hands, especially if we beat Ipswich by two for a four goal swing.

West end Saints Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I can't decide what is the best result for us, but realised I don't have to! Overall think draw is best result for us, keeps top 2 possible, and helps with top 4. 1

AlexLaw76 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago That is a good result. Ipswich have 3 seats on the spin now 2
coalman Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Well, we got in this position via an improbable series of results. We just need that improbable series to continue. 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Just now, LGTL said: Full time 2-2 I'll take that. Ipswich drop points and lose McAteer to injury, and Boro remain below us.
Baird of the land Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Stupid by the boro player for the penalty, but such a delayed decision influenced by the crowd. Annoying as at 2-1they had a few chances for a third.
bpsaint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Full time, we’ve gained 2 points on Ipswich then, good result IMO Edited 4 hours ago by bpsaint 4

RedArmy Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I fancy West Brom to take a point off them, with a potential points deduction looming over them they’ll need to keep going as much as possible. So all in all I think a draw is good for us, keeps Boro at arms length too.
coalman Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago It was only a week and a half ago we overtook Wrexham to get into the playoff places. Now, we're a point behind 2nd 5
Jimmy_D Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Two results outside our control needed now, with the added bonus that goal difference is now irrelevant as long as we keep our results going and those two results we need come in. 2

The one extra point really makes no difference, 1 or 2 points better than us is of little consequences, whereas if they had won it would have been much more difficult. I think a draw was the best result for us. 2
Lord Duckhunter Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago With Ipswich’s home record & the run Middlesbrough have been on (they haven’t won a game for over a month) a draw is a pretty decent result for us. Better than could really be expected. They’ve 3 tough away games and they have a piss poor away record for a team finishing second. 3

Even if Ipswich had lost today we’d still be relying on them not winning their game in hand so I consider today a decent result for us as it keeps us ahead of Boro.

Now it isn't, we need them to drop points in another match. Unless I'm looking at the wrong table. 1

We would have been level on points so they could win all their games apart from against us and we could still have finished above them. Albeit we might have been unlikely to have overturned the GD deficit.
