Just thinking more on this after tonight’s TSP. I do feel a bit sorry for him.

He has spent a fortune on the club, you can’t knock that. It’s just been spent so, so badly.

But has he left those responsible in position ? Ankersen for one.

His judgement is appointing said charlatans. He took a more 'hands on' role more recently, look how that is going.

The buck stops with him.

This has been my stance as well, but this guy is also in a position of authority now - he's appointed himself as Chairman of this club.

Yet still it's chaos. This is now happening fully under his watch sad to say.

we're in the same bat shit crazy world of ownership as the likes of Blackburn and Wednesday are in, so wishing we're not them isn't exactly a mile away from what we have today.

Wouldn't go that far, S-Clarke. Chansiri put zero in to the club. Venkys haven't put in much more (£4.85m). Then there's the Oystons at Blackpool. We could do a lot worse.

Don't know how Ankersen and Solak hooked up. Was Ankersen touting his wares to wealthy businessmen and Solak got sucked in or are they somehow mutual friends? Makes a difference. I'd like Solak to reach out to the likes of us fans and seek advice. But would he get a cohesive answer?

But wait, there is more ! Apparently they also acquired Mali Coura FC earlier this year, a Malian 2nd division club (source: Wikipedia). How did that fly under the radar ?

Feels like SR is specializing in mediocrity. All SR teams are now playing in 2nd division or lower except for Göztepe S.K , these wankers are lagging behind, they need to go down too to meet SR's standard of living!

Rasmus Wankerson is director of a company in the Sports Republic group that is co-owned by a Malian guy who runs academies there.

I noticed this the other day and posted it another thread.
