He's a poor out ball already due to his physicality, but Armstrong makes it worse with his brain. More often than not he's offside.

We are even worse. Have created nothing at all and look like conceding. Fair to say this nipper is not going to get bums off seats.

Well we do seem to be trying to move it forward a bit quicker tonight, which is a positive at least.

Ok scratch that.

Twice. We tried twice to move the ball forward quickly.

My expectations for tonight were by no means high, but this is absolute fucking dogshit. We look like a team that's already relegated and going through the motions.

Saints free kick in Manning territory.

Do you mean that because the lino is close enough to argue with or what?

As we start to exit the wanky Pep-led style of football, we are seemingly entering an era of 3 at the back

Knobheads playing CMs at full back, so they can 'tuck in'....hybrid wing backs...

Just why?!

You know that is still Pep led football, right?

Well at least this German isn’t getting the job

Every cloud…

A QPR goal has looked a matter of time. We have a free kick here but long way out. And it’s rank from Manning.

Whatever the formation is, it is horrific as no midfield at all. Downes bailed out Bazunu earlier when Gavin was glued to his line.

These two will be right in a relegation battle, very poor sides.

They just mentioned the fact he's been at the club since 2011, everyone round the club probably thinks he is "Mr Southampton" and someone to look up to. Shame the fans don't want him anywhere near the club.

He's the embodiment of this Southampton side, that's for sure.

Bring back Will. At least we made chances.

😂😂😂😂😂😂

It's almost as if it's the lack of composure at both ends of the pitch that was the issue, not the manager...

I've just realised we only have one striker on the bench, and that's Downs. Ridiculous state of affairs.

Just Armstrong upfront alone hoping to pick up scraps. No other attacking plan at all. Inviting pressure on ourselves. I guess the new temporary manager is scared.
