Miltonaggro Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Canaries plucked and fucked by Tonda's gold wing, though Gavin Budgezunu will flap and let one in. 1-3 (Armstrong, Azaz, Fraser)
Jack Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Couple of bits on Matsuki in the media this week but Aribo still getting into the squad ahead of him. Hope that changes very soon, pretty sick of him lumbering around the pitch doing very little 1

Norwich aren’t great but have improved over recent games under new management. I don’t think we win this, maybe a 1-1. Think some people getting very carried away. Carried away? Norwich have been pony this year. Let’s have it 1 1
Saint Fan CaM Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Missing Fellows will unbalance the team in midfield even more than it normally is. Fraser will not have the pace or skills, so I expect most balls going via Manning who will inevitably recycle most passes backwards. Think it’s going to be a frustrating game - just hopefully not fruitless as momentum is our friend right now.

Fellows will be a miss but we should still have enough to beat an awful Norwich team, who are missing Sargent. It just looks very light on attacking options to me. We do have fit strikers in Downs and Oyekunle, but TE obviously sees them as surplus to requirements today. Not that either of them would be expected to contribute much if they did get on the pitch, but it does restrict our options significantly.

It didn’t seem like DD was surplus to requirements in Tonda’s press conference yesterday. He’s been injured.
AlexLaw76 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Leo should have a field day against a team like Norwich

Downs I thought was reported as injured and Oyekunle, other than making up the numbers with a couple of fleeting sub appearances, has never been a first team player. Other people will probably say Matsuki but he's basically in the same boat.
BARCELONASAINT Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago If we realistically hope to achieve promotion this season then these are games where only 3 points will suffice! 5

TE was glowing in his praise of how Matsuki is the model professional and raises the bar in training with his commitment. Now give me that every day of the week over a half arsed Aribo!! 2
SWLondon Saint Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I think we'll see a lot of attacks and pressure down our right. I'm hoping either THB or Stephens will play more or less as a right full back behind Fraser but I'm not holding my breath. 2-2
obelisk Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Back down to earth with a hard-earned draw today I fear. 1
bpsaint Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Adam Blackmore just revealing there that the club hierarchy contacted him and had a moan after he tweeted that appointing Will Still was a gamble. Fairly having a little dig that the same person didn’t contact him once Still was sacked to admit he was right. Thin skinned of whoever it was that got upset by Blackmore’s comment. adrian lord Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago We have started to see the sort of football that the individual players' skills should always have brought forth.
sfc4prem Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago 2-0 to Saints. A rare clean sheet. THB from a corner with a Scienza special on top. 1

Good on AB for saying this. 1
sockeye Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago 15 points dropped from winning positions for Norwich. Well, at least they won't be adding to that statistic today, there's no way they'll be going ahead this afternoon.

Saint NL Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Dangerous free kick for the first foul of the day on Scienza
obelisk Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Downes headed that back to the keeper. Saints sooo close.
LGTL Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago GK tangled in the net and Downes heads the ball to him! Incredible
Saint Matty 76 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Definite penalty that, but we’ve had some decent luck recently.
Saint NL Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) We've started well, hit the bar and a good shout for a penalty already... That woods chance was another Edited 7 hours ago by Saint NL

Incredible The ball looped up in the air for ages, the keeper recovered and Downes had to generate all the power through his own neck. Can’t criticise him for that. That next chance looked a penalty, all day long to me.

Saint_clark Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Any links for a stream? Fawanews isn't working for me.
Willo of Whiteley Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Has the referee got money on Norwich? Six minutes gone and a blatant corner and penalty not given for Saints.
Saint NL Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Adam Armstrong, Finn Azaz and Leo Scienza have scored more goals this season for Southampton (20 combined) than the Norwich starting line up have managed in their careers so far. That's a hell of a stat
saint michael Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Would like to see Fraser getting down the wing more like fellows. Seems to turn back every time
