Couple of bits on Matsuki in the media this week but Aribo still getting into the squad ahead of him. Hope that changes very soon, pretty sick of him lumbering around the pitch doing very little

Think we’ll miss Fellows as much as we missed Scienza the other day. Norwich aren’t great but have improved over recent games under new management.

I don’t think we win this, maybe a 1-1. Think some people getting very carried away.

Carried away? Norwich have been pony this year.

Let’s have it

Missing Fellows will unbalance the team in midfield even more than it normally is. Fraser will not have the pace or skills, so I expect most balls going via Manning who will inevitably recycle most passes backwards. Think it’s going to be a frustrating game - just hopefully not fruitless as momentum is our friend right now.

Who's fit that you'd have on there? Everything looks as I'd expect TBH, given the players available. Fellows will be a miss but we should still have enough to beat an awful Norwich team, who are missing Sargent.

It just looks very light on attacking options to me. We do have fit strikers in Downs and Oyekunle, but TE obviously sees them as surplus to requirements today. Not that either of them would be expected to contribute much if they did get on the pitch, but it does restrict our options significantly.

It didn’t seem like DD was surplus to requirements in Tonda’s press conference yesterday. He’s been injured.

Downs I thought was reported as injured and Oyekunle, other than making up the numbers with a couple of fleeting sub appearances, has never been a first team player. Other people will probably say Matsuki but he's basically in the same boat.

The one i don't understand is Matsuki not featuring. TE was glowing in his praise of how Matsuki is the model professional and raises the bar in training with his commitment. Now give me that every day of the week over a half arsed Aribo!!

I think we'll see a lot of attacks and pressure down our right. I'm hoping either THB or Stephens will play more or less as a right full back behind Fraser but I'm not holding my breath. 2-2

Adam Blackmore just revealing there that the club hierarchy contacted him and had a moan after he tweeted that appointing Will Still was a gamble. Fairly having a little dig that the same person didn’t contact him once Still was sacked to admit he was right.

Thin skinned of whoever it was that got upset by Blackmore’s comment.

Good on AB for saying this.

15 points dropped from winning positions for Norwich.

Well, at least they won't be adding to that statistic today, there's no way they'll be going ahead this afternoon.

We've started well, hit the bar and a good shout for a penalty already... That woods chance was another

GK tangled in the net and Downes heads the ball to him! Incredible

The ball looped up in the air for ages, the keeper recovered and Downes had to generate all the power through his own neck. Can’t criticise him for that.

That next chance looked a penalty, all day long to me.

Adam Armstrong, Finn Azaz and Leo Scienza have scored more goals this season for Southampton (20 combined) than the Norwich starting line up have managed in their careers so far.

That's a hell of a stat
