obelisk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Saints just keep giving it away. The lack of confidence is obvious. Sheffield know they have a chance. 1
Saint_clark Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Great, switch to the rock solid 3 at the back for injury time... 3 1

Sheaf Saint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Well we couldn't go the whole game without bringing on another CB could we. 2

BotleySaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Classic Saints added time performance. Give them chance after chance until the inevitable.

Mixedkebab Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Unfortunate to see c Wood and c Manning get their lazy, sulky arses on to the pitch. 4 at the back, drop a couple of shitheads- clean sheet and a win Edited 1 hour ago by Mixedkebab 1
Chez Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago fuckign get out there Manning. too slwo to close down and the cross comes in...thankfully its shit 4
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago And there's Manning's characteristic standing off his man to allow a dangerous cross. Twat. 4
Harry_SFC Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Pretty terrible display, especially second half but can't moan. Huge win before the derby. 1

We’ve regressed badly with, bar one good tackle, and Nathan Woodentop on.
ChristopheVAFC Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Congratulations on tonight's victory, mates. It wasn't the match of the year, but it's three more points in the league. COYS !!! 10
Sunglasses Ron Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Ohhhh, I guess we’ll be treated to a full time score report on the official Facebook page!
Saint_clark Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Had to go into the Pompey game with a win. Please just don't lose that game for Christ sake. 2
obelisk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 1-0 then Three welcome points but that was harder work than it needed to be. Added time was painfully bad. 2

We were getting dangerously close to the bottom three and could not see where a win was coming from. Tonda still needs a result at Fratton though. Edited 1 hour ago by Gloucester Saint

tdmickey3 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Shite 2nd half again. Look forward to Manning and Wood back on Sunday🙄 1
Zorba Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Poor performance. SU are crap. 3 points though and a confidence boost for the weekend. Welington must play. 8
BotleySaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Bloody hell we needed those points. Good to win, but that last 15 mins was awful. More luck than judgement that they didn't score. Coincided with the subs... 2
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago On the face of it a decent win. Our starting 11 AND 2 CB's gave us a platform to get three points. Screw 3 at the back. Screw Manning at LB. Screw Fellows at RWB. Well done Scienza, Stewart, Fellows, Jander, Welington, Jelert, Peretz...and yes, THB and Stephens. Notable could do better's - Azaz and Downes. 3
Chez Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago pretty happy with that. we created some good chances and then worked hard defensively. Road our luck a little at the end, but kept the blades pretty quiet 2
Baird of the land Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Managed to survive a few moments of self sabotage at the end. Peretz with a nice save but he also looks a bit lost on corners. loved seeing, a 4 at the back, Welington starting, Stewart giving us an aerial presence and Charles return. Stephen’s played very well too which will no doubt annoy his detractors. Edited 1 hour ago by Baird of the land 3
Sheaf Saint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Full time. We won. And got a clean sheet. But I feel absolutely nothing. I've had to emotionally detach myself for my own wellbeing, so I can't muster anything to celebrate a win. Another awful second half performance. Was Leo's header the only chance we had after HT? 10
Micky Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 17 minutes ago, Chez said: no lack of effort out there from the likes of AA Agreed, but the very least that we should see. 1
Crab Lungs Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Better. They’re gonna kick scienza off the park on Sunday, aren’t they? 1
captainchris Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Tonda please can you do some coaching this week… Can we assume Wellington will be dropped for Manning as Wellington played well…🤷♂️ Edited 1 hour ago by captainchris 1
Scoobysaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago A win but only because the opposition were dreadful. There was no excitement watching that performance, just boredom and an impending sense of doom. I’m normally a “glass half full” person but we are going nowhere with this squad. I think I have previously tended to blame tactics or formations but ultimately the team aren’t good enough. Paid special attention to THB this evening as he is allegedly being watched for this transfer window. I’d be amazed if anybody fancied paying for him. A win but I was hoping that at this stage of the season it would be to keep us fighting at the top rather than three points in our quest for safety.
washsaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don't know what some of you are on but you sure are miserable feckers. We were not going to play like Brazil with how low our confidence is but we were comfortably the better side and shold have won by more than 1 goal but for yet more woeful finishing (especially from Azaz and Fellows). Jack made a real difference at the back with his leadership and tonight they actually fought for the shirt (which shod be a given but hasn't been). We were still too weak in midfield and Downes gave the ball away in dangerous areas that opened up a ton of space in the middle for SHeffield. A win and a clean sheet. Gives Saints some confidence going into the derby game. 7
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago For Pompey I'd keep the same side except put Charles in for Downes. 12
Lighthouse Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Our third consecutive league double against the Blades, they’ve not taken a point off us since 2009. 1
