Peretz saves Saints after stupid defensive mix up.

Bamford should score.

Unfortunate to see c Wood and c Manning get their lazy, sulky arses on to the pitch.

4 at the back, drop a couple of shitheads- clean sheet and a win

If you hadn’t have typed Manning’s name, we’d still have known it was him you were referring to. We’ve regressed badly with, bar one good tackle, and Nathan Woodentop on.

Pretty terrible display, especially second half but can't moan. Huge win before the derby.

We were getting dangerously close to the bottom three and could not see where a win was coming from. Tonda still needs a result at Fratton though.

Poor performance. SU are crap. 3 points though and a confidence boost for the weekend. Welington must play.

Bloody hell we needed those points.

Good to win, but that last 15 mins was awful. More luck than judgement that they didn't score.

Coincided with the subs...

On the face of it a decent win.  Our starting 11 AND 2 CB's gave us a platform to get three points.  Screw 3 at the back.  Screw Manning at LB.  Screw Fellows at RWB.  Well done Scienza, Stewart, Fellows, Jander, Welington, Jelert, Peretz...and yes, THB and Stephens. Notable could do better's - Azaz and Downes.

pretty happy with that. we created some good chances and then worked hard defensively. Road our luck a little at the end, but kept the blades pretty quiet

Managed to survive a few moments of self sabotage at the end. Peretz with a nice save but he also looks a bit lost on corners.

loved seeing, a 4 at the back, Welington starting, Stewart giving us an aerial presence and Charles return. Stephen’s played very well too which will no doubt annoy his detractors.

Full time. We won. And got a clean sheet.

But I feel absolutely nothing. I've had to emotionally detach myself for my own wellbeing, so I can't muster anything to celebrate a win.

Another awful second half performance. Was Leo's header the only chance we had after HT?

no lack of effort out there from the likes of AA

Agreed, but the very least that we should see.

Tonda please can you do some coaching this week… Can we assume Wellington will be dropped for Manning as Wellington played well…🤷‍♂️

A win but only because the opposition were dreadful. There was no excitement watching that performance, just boredom and an impending sense of doom. I’m normally a “glass half full” person but we are going nowhere with this squad. I think I have previously tended to blame tactics or formations but ultimately the team aren’t good enough. Paid special attention to THB this evening as he is allegedly being watched for this transfer window. I’d be amazed if anybody fancied paying for him.
A win but I was hoping that at this stage of the season it would be to keep us fighting at the top rather than three points in our quest for safety.

I don't know what some of you are on but you sure are miserable feckers.

We were not going to play like Brazil with how low our confidence is but we were comfortably the better side and shold have won by more than 1 goal but for yet more woeful finishing (especially from Azaz and Fellows).

Jack made a real difference at the back with his leadership and tonight they actually fought for the shirt (which shod be a given but hasn't been).

We were still too weak in midfield and Downes gave the ball away in dangerous areas that opened up a ton of space in the middle for SHeffield.

A win and a clean sheet.  Gives Saints some confidence going into the derby game.
