Saintinnot Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If it wasn’t for the 4 point deduction we would now be top on GD

Stud mark of doom Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We’d now be top, if not for the points deduction farce.
skintsaint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Parker already nearly conceded 20% of the amounts of league goals he did in one full season at Burnley, in one game with the Hammers 😅

We’d be top if we could have finished our chances against Bolton and West Brom, and didn’t get shite results at Lincoln and Watford. We need to let go of the minus 4 and start taking responsibility for our league position. 3

Patrick Bateman Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Boro looked bloody awful, Wrexham were industrial and made it count. And you just KNEW West Ham would pull that back!

It's still worth keeping in mind that it's without the -4 that reflects how we're doing on the pitch, which is now better than anyone else so far this season. 2

If we play well enough we will get the points we need. 1

So much better than the PL Incidentally the bottom 4 teams in PL are all playing in the bloated European competitions. Ironic if that is what fucks them and Coventry, Hull and Ipswich all survive

obelisk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Could have done with nicking a winner last night. A win on Saturday to help keep up with the pace now required.

goodymatt Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I know we’ve slipped up in a few games and so have missed the opportunity to overcome the -4 points already. However, after all the uncertainty surrounding Tonda and having to pick ourselves back up to go again, to be on top in points earned (on GD) is fantastic. Managing through without Jander, Larin getting injured when league top scorer and struggling to deal with spygate noise (losing first game back and last game before FA decision is no coincidence). I’ll take it. Tonda has averaged title points over his first year in charge and January provides an opportunity to further strengthen. 3

saintant Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Boro were awful tonight. Their fans are in melt down and even questioning King Kim who again looked ready to burst into tears at the end 🙂 5

Yeah, given the circumstances to only be 4 points off top at this stage is pretty good going. It's going to be a much tighter league than it has been in recent seasons, that's for sure. 1

Mboto Gorge Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Boro looked terrible tonight without Lankshear, be nice if he’s out for a while. I don’t particularly rate wolves either, they’ve scraped through most games and any time they’ve come against anyone near the top, they’ve dropped points.

Thinking like that ignores the points we have picked up due to luck or opponents' performances or having a good day going our way that we might easily otherwise have dropped. Full points away at West Ham and with 10 men against Pompey immediately spring to mind. It's never been the case that football always goes how it's expected to.
saintant Posted 43 minutes ago Posted 43 minutes ago Based on gross points accumulated and goal difference we are currently the best side in the Championship and that cannot be disputed.

HKsaint Posted 4 minutes ago Posted 4 minutes ago Hellberg: is it too late to lodge an appeal against the only 4 points deduction to FA now?
