obelisk Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I hope Peretz had something to say to Stephens after that back pass.
BotleySaint Posted September 5 Posted September 5 We are giving them too much space. Have to hope they tire and we can create a bit more space.
Saint_clark Posted September 5 Posted September 5 (edited) Stephens 🤦🏼♂️ I'd be fuming if I was Wood, done nothing wrong at all this season and been dropped for someone who's made multiple mistakes every game. Edited September 5 by Saint_clark 1
Sheaf Saint Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Who had 29 mins on the Jack Stephens howler sweepstake? 1 1
adrian lord Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Very well drilled and good shape, Lincoln. If they had a shade more quality upfront, we would be dead and buried by now. 2

BotleySaint Posted September 5 Posted September 5 A bit better finishing and Lincoln would be ahead. Giving them too much space out wide and in the area.
adrian lord Posted September 5 Posted September 5 We need to get to halftime without conceding and sort things out
captainchris Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Is Russel Martin in a consultancy role with us? Sienza needs to man up too… Wellington needs to stop putting his hands behind his back and attack the right winger! Blooody awful …. Wellington needs to are soft and lazy.
DrSuess1979 Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Fcking drums loop track singing and an air raid siren peak knob head fans
RedArmy Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I don’t think Wellington has completed a single forward pass in this game.
Challenger Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Apart from a non clean sheet and a Downes yellow card, I'm not sure what else to expect here.
Patches O Houlihan Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Jo Tessie agreeing with me twice now on Stephens v Lincoln

Saint_clark Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Funny how when there are a couple of passes to players within 10 yards of each other the Martinball comments start coming out. We've gone long plenty of times, in this game and all season. 1
Micky Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I think it's fair to say that our quality is not shining through...!

Mr X Posted September 5 Posted September 5 So poor today..... We are deluded if we think we are even a top six team 2 1
obelisk Posted September 5 Posted September 5 It'd be interesting to see how Lincoln's defence might cope under sustained attacking pressure.

Saint NL Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Credit to Matsuki, he's not had much of the ball but at least he is trying to make things happen
Big M Posted September 5 Posted September 5 We're a bit shit really, wood dropped for Stephens? Tonda is going to make a rod for his own back if he's not careful.
hypochondriac Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Only the last few minutes but much better control of the game. How I expected us to be from the start.
Sheaf Saint Posted September 5 Posted September 5 It's not been great so far, but I think we're tactically inviting them to press us in the knowledge that they don't have a lot of quality and can't maintain that intensity for 90 mins, and are confident of finishing stronger. 1
badgerx16 Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I get the impression that the fact I can't get any stream to work might be a blessing. 1

Except that's not happening either. That's how we just ended up with a corner from a ball played out wide then NOT going backwards.
adrian lord Posted September 5 Posted September 5 They seem to have a lot of space and an extra man midfield

BotleySaint Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Wellington really struggling with the pace and positioning today. I guess he hasn't play much. Needs to come off soon. 2
