Last league game at the Dell and the Midweek game at the Dell when we went into added time 0-1 down v Newcastle then smashed them to bits winning 3-1: on Solent the commentator sounded like he was going to explode as the 3rd went in( South Today the next night overlaid the footage with his commentary, priceless).

Manu 6-3. Got offered use of a friends property in France. At 1st said no, but after watching Newcastle **** them 5-0 the previous sunday, I was convinced lightning wouldn't strike twice and we had beaten the greys the season before...... DOH!!

Desperatly driving up hills trying to get the reports on World Service.

Forest at White Hart Lane in the cup replay i was 8 and dad said i could not go, even though i had seen the great come back at The Dell.

other than that i have been priviledged to have seen all the great/important games over the last 47 years

Away at Villa 3rd round FA cup replay ....only game I missed in 76 cup run.

Luton at home late 80s we won scored 6. the one and only time I've missed footy to take missus shopping (it was for golf clubs), but never again.

Norwich away 94 - we won 5-4

Anderlecht away.....I thought there would be loads of opportunities to travel in Europe with Saints and i wasn't loaded at the time...............had to wait until Bucharest

Due to not being born:

FA Cup final 76'

Skates 0-1 Saints, Moran goal, not sure of the year was it 84?

Since born:

Any win against the skates that i wasn't present at, so 3. 3-0 nil in the cup at the dell & the two wins at SMS in the relegation season.

Last game at the dell 3-2 v Arsenal

Saints 1-0 Man Utd, last minute Beattie goal at SMS start of 03/04 season?

+1. Was in Tenerife at the time watching Soccer Saturday in a bar literally shaking in the shock of it all, needless to say the night that followed went down very well!

I could have gone but chose not to.

I'd just got back from Barcelona having watched England play terribly in a 3-0 win against Andorra and saw that we had about 10 first-team regulars out injured and we'd been on a terrible run of form beforehand as well, so couldn't be bothered.

Schoolboy error.

Made it to last game at the Dell, Norwich at SMS in relegation season and Derby away in play offs......

But really really regret not being at Wolves to witness the 6-0 win.

My old man saw us beat Wolves 9-3 in 1965.... that would have been amazing!

Saints 3 Newcastle 1 at the Dell in 1994/95 when we scored 3 in the last 5 minutes.

Went up to Forest the previous Saturday and we were shocking and I couldn't bear seeing another hopeless performance. Stupid me.

Have regularly been told the Dell was the noisiest it had ever been on that night. Partly down to a tannoy announcement to ask the Archers to sit down.

Also Reading away last season. About the only game last season I would have wished to have been at. Sounded fantastic on the radio.

Well as I still haven't quite forgiven you for not getting me a ticket for the last game at the Dell (not the Brighton one) I shall heartily "HA" that I went to Reading last season. It was good, I thought we'd stay up after that...

No-one wish they'd gone to Bucharest ?

I'm not even gutted I didn't go to St Mary's for Spurs in the FA Cup or Liverpool in the relegation season, because the company in the pub were supporting the opposition.

So I guess I'm left with the Wolves 6-0 as well then.

Wish I went to the Dell more than I did. Didn't get a season ticket until we moved to St Marys, only used to go to about 5 or 6 games a season. Also wished I'd got into football a bit earlier than I did (1997) so I could have seen more of MLT. I was lucky enough to catch some of his magic, and remember one particlularly great goal against Villa, but I wish I could have seen him 92-95ish sort of period when he was probably at his best. Steaua Bucharest away would have been fun. Might not get the chance to play in Europe again, or at least for a very long time. Since April 2006 I haven't missed a game. Don't want to miss out on anything!

one of the best games that i should have been at and missed was Man Ure away in cup during the 90's, remember ****y Giggs juggling the ball then good old flowers saving the pen, then running to the saints fans at the other end...still regret not going now!!

6-0 away Wolves for me, was supposed to go up until a few days before when decided there was no point as the way we had been playing we would lose anyway!!

It was an awesome day out. The atmosphere and noise at half time under the terrace was amazing. A definite high-point of the last few years.
