Merry Christmas from SaintsWeb

On behalf of the admin and moderator team, I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

I don't think anyone could suggest that 2009 has been a boring year for SFC, albeit a pretty turbulent one, and I think I'll probably have universal agreement when I say that I hope 2010 will bring a much more positive outlook.

We certainly seem to be heading in the right direction as far as that's concerned!

Still, the conversation and debate on here hasn't been dull whether it's through the tough times or the slightly better recent times, so thankyou to everyone who has contributed this year. Without your participation, this forum simply wouldn't exist.

I'd like to take this opportunity to mention that the forum will be undergoing some major upgrades in the not-too-distant future. I am hoping it'll all be done by the new year, but a lot of it depends on various problems with the newest version of the forum software being ironed out. The upgrade will involve a period of downtime for the forum, but I will try to schedule it for a time that is least inconvenient to the majority.

Cheers

Steve, Baj, Mik, Rob, Lee, Ray, Ali, Andy and Toby

I spend a lot of time (probably more than is good for me) looking on other teams' forums when we are due to play them in the near future, and I can confidently say that this is by far and away the best Forum I have been on; in terms of layout, ease of use, the quality and quantity of posts and the way it is moderated.

So cheers for that! And Happy Christmas

Many, many thanks to the Admin team, you do a terrific job.

I am a 24hr carer so I am unable to get to matches very often.

It is great to be able to read the reports that are posted on here and keep abreast of the news. Thanks Guys and Gals. A Merry Christmas and a good 2010 to you all.

Onwards and Upwards!!!!!

No problem at all. This year, a one off payment of £5 into my PayPal account will be sufficient enough to show your thanks ;)

Thanks to the forum boys for keeping the whole ticking over. Would be nice to see a few more of the old posters come back without fear of being abused in 2010 now we're in a new era. And good if the 'usual click' could be a little more inclusive in their discussions so everyone gets noticed.

Anyways, a great bid Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year wishes to all Saints fans everywhere in the World.

You will see that i dont post on this site (well this is the first!)

I look at the site everyday and as someone who lives in North Devon it is great to read and share with fellow Saints supporters.

I had a heart attack at the back end of October (nothing to do with the Saints!!) and yours was the first site i looked up while in hospital to keep abreast of all the news.

I have been a supporter since 1967 and used to regularly visit the dell where we seldom lost.

I know there are a few hotheads on this forum but really - thanks to all who post and i WISH YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS and for the BEST NEW YEAR for all Saints fans with hopefully promotion and a wembley visit!!

Merry Christmas and season's best wishes to you all and thanks for doing an excellent job running this web forum. Certainly kept me up to date with Saints news and developments which is fantastic for those of us no longer living in the Southampton area.

Had a few laughs as well, reading some of the posts; must say that Southampton wit, humour, and sarcasm is still one of the best in the country.

Terrific stuff! Well done!

(SWF has chronicled the most important year in our history since relegation from the Prem. Please, please save safely for posterity before the upgraded system wipes it all, lol - like happened with tsf, gone forever the golden statue post).

Happy Crimbo all!

Merry Christmas to all the admin and mods but especially a big thank you to all of those who post match reports.

I can only watch via the internet links sometimes and the quality isn't very good so to get first

hand reports from real people, not newspapers :D, is superb.

A word of warning though, I hope to visit UK next Aug/Sept so will be hopefully able to see Saints live at SMS for the very first time.
