Thinking about this from an altruistic perspective I ask myself:

- to whom would a draw against us at SMS mean the most?

- to which group of fans would a draw at SMS prove most exciting?

- which team would bring a large allocation and a create a "cup final" atmosphere?

- who could we beat quite comfortably?

Yes, I hope, in the spirit of giving something back to the less fortunate in the footballing community, that we draw AFC Bournemouth, The Cherries, our local neghbours and many Saints fan's second team, at home in the FA Cup.

Not a pushover. They're my local team and are doing well and playing decent football. We will need a strong team. Being selfish I'm hoping for a replay - just 8 miles away compared with St Mary's which is 200 and I can't get to the first game - England NZ at Twickers that day.

The worst place I've had the mispleasure of visiting to sit and watch football, absolutely no leg room between seats to the side or front so an uncomfortable 90minutes coming up with this one - Hardly a great draw either, would've fancied us at home but the chances of progression must be slim.

WTF?

Well that part is true about St Mary's. Anyone over 6 foot struggles to sit comfortably, as your knees end up digging into the seat infront.

I've never noticed a problem. Perhaps you mean anyone over 6 foot and obese struggles to sit comfortably.

Because if you've got a fat arse you won't be able to sit as far back in a seat resulting in your knees sticking out further.

Well I'm far from overweight, 6 foot 1 and I don't have anywhere near enough leg room. My knees dig into the seat infront.

I blame Rupert Lowe for making such a stadium! :)

There is NOTHING in that bag of numbers that excites me. Met Police etc. would have been a good novelty, but seriously... meh.

You're not the only ones! I would have liked Sheffield FC but we've got a shocker instead.

Will not be an easy game - a defo banana skin for this squad.

Do you think so? Looking at their away record and with your squad and home advantage you should win comfortably.

Normally I would say the same about us, but our cup record in recent years has been appalling. I know nothing about Southport. I'm slightly dreading the trip. I bet we lose.
