Golden thread material, right here.

Anyway, yes - i've always said that he was incredibly underrated. There's a video on youtube of all his goals for us and some of them are truly top, top quality.

It's a shame he normally played like a chicken on crack for the 5 games following each goal. He flattered to deceive IMO. Some flashes of brilliance masking his poor work rate and dreadful off games. He just seemed to keep getting worse as time went on. When he first signed and scored on his debut I thought we were on to something. By the end of the season he was 5th choice striker behind Jones, Rasiak, Saganowski and Best.

Drunk much?

Yes, I think he was underrated too. Showing some form with Plymuff.

No, he's a **** of the highest order.

Approximately 87,382 players in the world CDAJFU, naming each one would be most tedious. BWP was our past. We've had better.

EDIT: Speaking of former players, seeing Forest's team vs Skatesmouth today, they started McG and had Tyson and Dexter on the bench. Craziness. One of those two CDAJFU fo sho.

He ran like a duck, he was offside FAR to much and his ars* was massive.

I never ever rated him, the only goals he scored were outstanding, and they were pretty much parted by some very very lackluster performances.

Youtube is never a judge unfortunately for me Clarky, it can make bad players look good and good players look crap.

Le Fondre could do a job though, i see he is League 2 top goalscorer again.

There would be a much longer video on You Tube of all his classic misses for us too.

Just how many one on ones with the keeper did he manage to balls up ?

Played in fits and starts, would be good for 15 minutes then vanish.

Peter Reid probably scares the living daylights out of him so maybe his work rate is better.

But in answer to the OP.............NO !

Dyer, McGoldrick and BWP are all history as far as SFC is concerned largely because of their antics off the field (all pretty average on the pitch). Hope Barnard's innocence is proved as I would hate to see him go the same way.

What did DMG do? I recall him and Kelvin were the only one's who deferred their wages when we went into admin. Also, BWP wasn't convicted and was only with the group who did the thieving.

You are quite correct. Although arrested they were not later charged and are innocent in the eyes of the law. Likewise BWP was innocent of theft - as would Nathan have been had he not pleaded guilty (!!). Of course, everyone has seen the video. Eventually, you have to consider whether their image is the right influence for the youngsters that idolise them. I would suggest the incidents might have been influential in negotiations for a new contract.

The name Wright-Phillips sends shivers down my spine> Neither of them are 'footballers'. I'm sorry to say that they are both 'headless chickens' who have made a lot of money from running down 'blind alleys' at breakneck speed without actually having a clue what they're doing. They're bound to score a few along the way....so would I! No, it was a good days work when he was shown the door!

Well what ever we think of him he is now joint top scorer in league one he's found his level it would seem. Maybe we didn't play to his strengths or maybe he has more composure in front of goal these days? his goals at plymouth seem to be long ball punt down field and hope BWP has the pace to outrun the defence and slot home (seems to be working for him too).

Too true and Bradley is better than his brother at it!

Very frustrating kind of player. In the blink of an eye he could show an amazing peice of control and then two seconds later he'd miscontrol a very easy pass. I woud suggest that he did one decent thing followed by two **** things. This would happen in every signle game. He never changed. He was not without talent and of course genuine pace, and I would disagree with anyone that says he was lazy. He ran and ran all day long chasing so much **** its not true. On the occasions he didn't chase (and then get berated by fans) it was because he had just chased down 14 woeful channel balls in a row and decided perhaps it wasn't worth killing himself yet again for a complete nothing ball.

He is without doubt the worst long range shooter I have ever seen. I don't recall a single goal from outside the box, although the Derby opener might well have been. In the time he was here he must have out 500 shots wide or over. So much waste. Another weak area was his one on ones. He scored a few, but not nearly enough considering the time his pace allowed him. I liked him and backed him on here against the tide, however the bar blue incident was a total embaressment to the club, as was the `robbed from the skates' song. Because of that I was glad he and Dyer left. I don't want to support a thief and it made me sick hearing people singing in support of someone that would rob any other person, humerous or not.

Going back to the original point, all I can say is that it's a damn shame that both him and Nathan Dyer are now starring for their respective clubs. There's no doubt both of them were going nowhere with us at the end of their spells here (for obvious reasons), but this just makes it all the more frustrating that we couldn't get the best out of them. There's nothing I hate more than watching players that we're happy to drive out the door turn it on for their new clubs.

My in-laws are Argyle fans and they're obviously worried he could be off in January; strikers are always in demand and I wouldn't be surprised if a mid-table Champ side comes in for him. Mind you, Peter Reid had a bit of a cryptic quote the other day saying they couldn't have given him away in the summer even if they'd tried! That's football for you.

A pretty horrible human being. Think we're best off without, TBH

Perhaps not so much.We have had at least our fair share of disciplinary problems with these young players and as we don't seem to be able to resolve them we let them wander off to become responsable !! adults and decent players elsewhere...like Nile Ranger.
