Stadium expansion plans is my guess. ;)

Maybe they were waiting for Championship level football before deciding it was worth proceeding with, after all it is a long process from planning to completion and they may want it completed asap now.

A few of my mates went to Staplewood on the way home and met the players. Had a few drinks with them etc. Cortese told them that they have lined up a game against the FA Cup final 2003 team and entry is free. Not sure if its true or not but thats what I was told.

Not a single part of that story sounds true.

Content not found. If you have pictorial evidence then fair play, but still.

As for Claus playing at St Marys next week...seems a bit odd to me to play a game like that whilst the season is still running.

This was my reply until I saw the photo evidence and a text saying that is what Cortese told them.

Beattie, Baird, Ormerod, Bridge and Delap are current Premier League players, the Premier League finishes 22nd May this season. I doubt their clubs will let them play in a friendly against Saints any time soon. Would be cool if they did though! :)

Exactly my thought. So what on earth is Claus talking about?

I little more info for you..

Cortese said we WILL win the Championship next year (I hope so)

He was asked if we will splash the cash in the summer, he looked around to make sure no players were listening, smiled and replied with maybe.

The lads that met him said he was brilliant, he loves us and will be here for a long long time.

Just checked The Echo site and it's definitely NOT new stadium plans

Appears very much like Jordan's heads up was planned to coincide with promotion so season tickets is my guess

Walsall selling out means the TO are thumb twiddling and the shop is gonna be too busy in the build up to cope with new shirt orders.

I'd like the current ST holders offered a decent deal for pumping the money in early last year and another decent deal for kids. Apart from that we've got to take any increase on the chin IMHO.

I'd put a fair amount on it being ST prices. It makes sense as we now know which division we'll be playing in. New kit would be great too but I think the former is more likely.

Struggling to see how I will afford it this time round but I'm praying they have installment plans. :S
