Especially as we're already paying someone else 70 grand a week.

With the addition of a top drawer centre back... I'd be more than happy to see our current youthful and apparently tight knit squad develop and see what they can do next season. They're only going to get even better

Has Ramirez been wirth £70, 000 a week? No chance, as it stands would prefer Ramirez.

you have to be so sorry for Rednapp, that was really cruel the way 3pts was snatched from him................my ribs still hurt from laughing so much at his miserable face....i could not have written that script any better if i had tried....wonderful weekend

Yeah. I was watching that " I am the messiah" look spreading on his face and then that last minute goal. There's is a god after all..

It should have brought back memories for Rednapp of the Everton 2-2 game in our relegation season (when Crouch shot weakly at the keeper instead of taking it to the corner flag with 30 secs to go and us 2-1 up) - except he seems to have wiped that season from his memory.

Kevin Phillips was really gutted for QPR . Did he play for them? I think when Harry took over QPR were 4points from safety, if so all those millions and they have gone backwards lol

You would never have guessed that from Arry's interview !

He reckoned that they have really improved and individually mentioned each of his signings (Remy, Jenas, Townsend and Samba !) as being the reasons for this !

I suppose that some will believe it, mind, the media still seem to lap it up !!

Its his first hit at "they're were dead and buried before I went there". Which his media chums will only be too happy to fall for. Despite the £20M plus he spent.

The second hit is "they'd already played all the easy home games before I got there...." - that was the quote that really got me about him with us.

If QPR go down, are their finances so bad that they might have to make a contribution to the wages of players they sell on?

E.g. If Remy is on £70K a week, might they have to pay £10K or £20K of this to get him off the books?

add to that the last gasp Boro equalizer

70k a week and live in one of the nicest parts of the country. Not a bad life

London? One of the nicest parts of the Country?

And £70k pw gets you feck all in London, even a beer costs just shy of £5, imagine how much it costs in on of the more "affluent" areas...

Remy should be made to rot in the championships as it will teach him a lesson in greed. Why on earth go to a **** team like QPR?

I expect Redknapp has his usual clause in his contract giving him a % of profit on player sales as a bonus - then does a deal with the agent who also gets a cut to ensure his client signs.....

My 1st particular choice for a winger in the summer would be Tom Ince, but if Blackpool want silly money for him (his father was quoting £25m the other week!) then I'd be all over Townsend. Has been superb for QPR since going there

Still only 21, would fit our profile for buying young English players perfectly.

I'd take Remy on lower wages too...

he will soon be found out as is very left footed.next season he will not be as effective IMO

I didn't even think the Remy goal was all that good, he was unmarked and the (reverse) bend was down to luck. The ball hopped up a bit as he hit it, literally could have gone anywhere and no matter what a striker says, you can only maximise the percentages and a bounce like that takes it out of your control to a point. You can control your swing and aim, but there's no way he could have read that hop and compensated for it with his swing already under way. He meant to sidefoot it on target, maybe even bend it, but it didn't do what he meant it to.

A bit like your shinner vs Bournemouth then? ;)

A reporter reported that's what he said....

He was quoted though and if the reporter made it up that's libel.

I have no doubt he's on that much money, one of the top prospects in Europe coming to a newly promoted club was always going to involve some decent wages.
