These goons failed massively in the summer. £50m in this league should be more than enough to build a team capable of pissing the league but the idiots went for future resale once again. That £50m should have been used to create a strong spine.

We lack leadership on the pitch, it needed to be addressed in the summer but the idiots calling the shots decided to give one of our worst ever captains a new 3 year deal.

Seriously, fuck Sport Republic. They are abysmal owners and it has taken way too long for fans to turn on them.

It’s actually embarrassing and cringeworthy to know we have complete idiots like that prick , involved in the running of our once proud football club. He is probably completely unfussed about our current situation either.

There you go, 16 minutes of absolute gobbledy geek from professional bullshitter and failed football guru Rasmus.

Xy stat equals Xe and when you master that you can beat your opponent Xg to Xf. No you fucking twat, you beat your opponent by scoring more goals and if you have a small budget in the competition you compete in, you make sure your players are very fit physically and drilled to a system that works to their strengths.

Like my girlfriend asking me today, what would you like for lunch today? Hold on love let me grab my laptop and see what the statistics say and equal this and that. Or, well it’s Sunday, I am English so obviously I want a Sunday roast.

I often wonder what the working relationship between himself and Matthew Benham was like.

I understand MBs background is in statistics.
What did RA do there?

Top 3 Benefits to Saints from SR”s multi-club model…..?

GO!

Buy Joachim Kayi Sanda from farmer club Valenciennes FC for 5M euros last year because he is the "best Center back in the world", exact words from Wizard Ben Chorley in April 2024, played a few minutes for Saints A team last season, then loaned to French 2nd Division team Red Star for which he has not played at all ? we don't buy mediocrity, we breed it...That's SR's Multi-club model way.

It was "if it is broken, consider not fixing it" if I remember well.

He is such a genius to the point of being confusing.

SR are doing well on that front to be honest, but what is going to cook my noodles later on is, how does Rasmuss manage to keep Gotzepe afloat ? is this just a fluke ?

Facts are uncomfortable, deal with it.

When are you going to stop drinking the Kool-aid ? That's what the American people want to know...unless you are on SR payroll, directly or indirectly,  which I suspect more and more.

I can't stand Multi Club model, being relegated to just be a "faire-valoir" at best. I'd rather restart in National 3 to keep VAFC 's identity intact.

I'm not denying the facts, the figures are there and can be verified, it's obvious!

If I have to be declared drunk? Yes! I'm drunk on my club! And I accept that!

Lallana and Trollope clearly still have a few more years to fuck up the squad though.

The more I read the statement the more I think that is the plan.

Usually you see the line 'Work is now underway to appoint a successor, news will be communicated in due course'' - but that line doesn't exist. That line exists on every manager sacking statement in the world, unless they hope the Interim gets it.

I think it's nailed that he gets it if he gets 4/6 points. And I feel sorry for Tonda as he'll be scapegoated immediately, but the true anger needs to be at the ownership.

Why not give one of those two the temporary job ? They’re part of the problem it’s not just on Still. If they’re not considered capable then no point keeping them on.

If there’s an expectation that anyone else coming in just a wants to slot in with  those two fuckers in place, then it will limit the interest.

He's also eluded to parasites inside both clubs feeding off the beast.  So basically this is a big cluster fuck, and if Dragan Solack/SR can't take care of it then they should get all the flack they deserve.

Yes, if Solak bought the nonsense Ankersen (and Kraft) spout - whose reputations were well known in the City and Football industry - it’s no great surprise we have ended up as we have. No structure; ill-defined roles; poor recruitment from top to bottom. The sooner Solak sells, the better.

Surely a highly successful businessman should be able to identify when his senior management team are failing, and are bad for business. He needs to make some high level changes and employ someone who knows about running a football club, have them do it for him and put the right people in the right places rather than these blaggers.

You’d hope so, but the reality proves otherwise. Seemingly, building a media business in Eastern Europe required different skills that haven’t proved transferable. He doesn’t control that now, and who knows how much disposable income he has left to support this situation. It’s only going to get murkier with Solak (and Ankersen) at the helm.

Unfortunately, their latest diversion tactic is to bring back a former player they didn’t want three years ago because he “didn’t fit the business model”.

And fans are lapping it up

I'm pretty certain he could get rid of these chumps and just put someone like Allardyce in charge of Saints structure and see a change of results...not that I am saying we should, but someone like Big Sam has been there done that and knows what should be going on.

My guess is he's referring to Kraft and Ankersen -and maybe one or two others.

All Sports Republic has to do this summer really was appoint Rohl as manager, sign Viktor Johanssen for a sensible fee to fill the hole in goal and bring Romulo over from Goztepe (on loan or for a reasonable fee) to give us the centre forward we have been missing for a couple of years and fill the massive hole up front.

Simple really right!?

It was all easily in reach given Spors relationship with Rohl and Sports Republic's ownership of Goztepe.

Instead I can't help feeling they tried to be too clever in signing players like Downs and Quarshie for resale value - and too cheap when it came to paying Shef Weds compensation for Rohl or brining Romulo over.

Until we have an owner that puts signing players for success on the pitch above making money out of 'clever signings' and player transfers Saints downward spiral will just continue.

Romulo has stated in the press part of the reason he joined Göztepe was the Southampton connection and route to the Premier League. That is a benefit of the model. Things change after relegation.

Had we stayed in the Premier League we would have been on a better position to sign him. But it is delusional to think a player would turn down a move to RB Leipzig to join us in the Championship.

Bullshit! Did you not bother reading it? The first paragraph gives a benefit of the model. Which you asked for!

i.e players being attracted to moves to our sister clubs because they see it as a pathway to the Premier League. Romulo stated that the Saints connection influenced his move to Göztepe.

I then explained how relegation made a move to us less likely  especially when as a Championship club we aren't going to be more attractive than a move to RB Leipzig. That doesn't mean there isn't a benefit, players will still see the potential pathway to us. But if a better option like RB Leipzig is on offer it is less likely to happen.

So in answer to the question. There have been no benefits.

Unless you're saying there will only ever be a benefit to us if a better club doesn't want a player from Goztepe.

Seems good to me.
