Charles in particular I’m not sure will resign and tbh we haven’t really gave him a ton of first team football for different reasons in his time here but you can tell he’s developing into a lovely player we need young prospects like this to resign else our focus on potential loses a lot of the upside You couldn’t really blame them though could you. There seems to be a feel good factor, albeit a very fragile one, returning but up until a few weeks ago the only way this club seemed to be heading was down. Why wouldn’t half decent not see what their options were. Things do seem to have turned but it’s the first steps on a long way back, the club still has a lot to do to prove they’re a good place to be 5

But coming from city and then being Wednesdays star man you could understand if he was a bit frustrated Its kinda mental really when you think the chances bazunu has been given compared to Charles and Edozie the latter hasn’t been treated great at all imo but even judging by his little cameos recently you can see he is still awesome dribbler and probably carries more goal threat then fellows Edited February 16 by pimpin4rizeal

And if we dont get promoted they'll likely be sold for as much as possible.

Im not fan of Edozie but he's been cast aside for some reason. Also weird how up until a month ago Brees been shipped out on loan meanwhile we've brought in two full backs who he is head a shoulders above. Yet like you say, we've persisted with Baz despite it being blatant from his first few games he was miles off where he needs to be. 4

I think I’d be happy breaking even on downes it was a transfer everyone wanted at the time but I don’t see a ceiling higher then a very good championship Dm,of which you could probably get another goiod championship dm for a lot less then 18m

Holmes_and_Watson Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Can't build the best things without engineers. Well, without builders too... Anyway, welcome aboard! I expect performances to pick up, when no one tells the squad her role at the pet charity, wasn't to put those on their last legs to sleep.

Or, the more terrifyingly likely option, they're doing the kind of data analyses where they don't have a clear hypothesis but want to check the correlations of as many variables as possible so they can pretend causal relationships and make terrible decisions. 1
Ted Bates Statue Posted March 2 Posted March 2 While appreciating our good form as we attempt to salvage something out of our season, it's been posted on Twitter that THB is Sports Republic's top scoring signing, as the first player to reach ten goals. Slightly more encouragingly, Finn Azaz is currently on nine, and hopefully Larin/Stewart can get their shooting boots on as it would be nice of them to help out our goal-scoring defenders with a few to secure a spot in the playoffs.

trousers Posted Sunday at 11:30 Posted Sunday at 11:30 Potential trouble on the horizon re: financial situation? (Annual results published overnight)
JohnnyShearer2.0 Posted Sunday at 11:41 Posted Sunday at 11:41 Dont think anyone is under the impression that we'd retain half these players if Saints dont go up.
Willo of Whiteley Posted Sunday at 12:05 Posted Sunday at 12:05 Just get Dragan to cough up £500M, take a three point deduction (or no deduction in some cases) and move on 😂
sfc4prem Posted yesterday at 09:34 Posted yesterday at 09:34 (edited) Still think SR are a bunch of cockwombles that are throwing data at a wall and hoping it sticks. Appointing Still was a clusterfuck that has capped our potential this season. They've taken a fairly decent PL club and put it through the fucking mangle. Only just managing to iron out some of their errors. Edited yesterday at 09:36 by sfc4prem 5

Willo of Whiteley Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I think season tickets and players should be on a “pay for performance” deal. I doubt any fans would mind paying extra for say a 1st place finish at the end of the season. 😉
Miltonaggro Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago 2 hours ago, Turkish said: Another way would be to increase the capacity of st Mary’s, reduce ticket prices to fill it and make loads of money from extra hot dogs sales Exactly, 45,000 deluxe £11 hot dogs per game = £495,000, no brainer. Hopefully Misti Choudhury is all over this like a data driven rash!
Luke SkyWalker-Peters Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago We definitely won't be near PSR. We have done very well selling academy players the last few years, who go down on the books as pure profit as the cost of running the academy isn't included (JWP, Tella, Dibling... SAA and Meghoma probably too even though they technically included small fees). We spent loads last season, but this was partly because we only signed two players for fees (Charles and Stewart) when we went down, so the likes of THB and Downes required large fees just to keep some of the squad. I'm fairly certain the club made a decent profit that year, with large sales and barely spending, although with outstanding debt I bet they would have done some accounting magic to avoid paying tax. We made excellent sales again this summer, which obviously aren't included in these dates. I think we look strong for the future. We still have plenty of players on the books that will get good fees that we are yet to sell. Ramsdale, Sugawara, BBD, Smallbone, Downs and Bazunu should all get decent money if we need/want to sell. Importantly, if we do go up the squad doesn't need massive investment like last time when half the squad was loan players. SR had a shocking time when they arrived and signed some poor players for far too much in their first season. We have felt the ramifications of that, but, with a couple of exceptions, I think that they have bought and sold players well since then. Promotion in the next couple of seasons is obviously essential, but I don't think there is anything for us to otherwise be worried about. 2
OldNick Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I think its time to give Johanna Spors some credit with the manager appointment and his purchases this season, some real gems 2
