My explanation is the two players that became magnetic due to a freak electrical storm which then either had them treading on each others toes, or pushed to the extremities of the pitch. There was probably a way of harnessing that power somehow with a coil of wire, but none of our managers found it. #boyitstoughtofocusonworktoday 4

Sadly that never happened and he went backwards from there. 3

None of the players we've been linked with, apart from Spertsyan which obviously isn't going to happen, fill me with much confidence. Azaz maybe but not at the price Boro want. I trust Will Still when he says we will definitely be bringing in new wingers/10 so hopefully things are moving quietly behind the scenes.
Saint_lambden Posted yesterday at 14:27 Posted yesterday at 14:27 Charlton, Preston and Blackburn were three of the sides that liked BBD as of a couple of weeks ago. Think it’s likely to be a loan whoever he ends up at. Waiting for an update on other matters. 3

Given they’ve both made signings since in that area that ship sailed but I reckon Brum after the window, Well if Brum get him that's one up to them against us because he's a very good player. Not one who might develop or could make an impact - he's the finished article. For whatever reason SR don't seem to want players like that and prefer to clog up the squad with absolute dross that they then can't get rid of. 3

He almost certainly wants better than Burnley and feels he's too good for the champ so there's zero chance he's signing for us. Honestly don't know why people think this is some kind of easy, no brainer signing. Nobody thinks it's an easy no-brainer signing but I'd like us to show interest in him, have a go, see if he's interested, explore the option but it won't happen with this mob in charge because they have zero ambition other than to turn a quick profit on a gamble.

We should end up with a much smaller squad, which is one win at least. Yeah, shift the current deadwood to make room for the incoming deadwood as replacements - we've seen how they operate. 1 1
S-Clarke Posted yesterday at 14:44 Posted yesterday at 14:44 BBD going makes sense, he wasn't even in the squad at the weekend. I imagine someone will take him on loan, no one is going to pay a fee for him. He's got some qualities for the right side I'm sure, but we're not that side as we like to play football. If we can shift Taylor, Edozie, Aribo, BBD, ABK, Sulemana, Onauchu, Suguwara then that's a huge chunk of wages and deadwood gone from the club, which is something we all wanted us to do 100% We now need to make sure the quality comes in the building to replace those. It just seems like we've got such a short period of time to do so much, if it goes as we need it to go I don't think we'll have ever seen the likes. 1

We’d be paying a% of the wages which SR will hate but it’s the only option to get his career going again and his chin off the floor. PNE and Blackburn more likely I’d have thought but if Jones gets him scoring 15 goals this season, win win, he’s then an asset again to sell. 1
