8 G/A in the Bundesliga for a team that only scored 28 goals isn't a bad return. Seems like a sensible signing IMO!

”BBD scored 6 goals in one of the worst premier league teams ever. Seems like a top level signing to me”

Been here before haven’t we. Annoying that our super recruitment leader seems to have his filter stuck on German leagues. Not seeing anything in this guy that screams could be amazing. Budget recruitment at its worst. Is he also likely to go to AFCON?

The difference is, this fella looks to be a genuine winger (what we need) and has attributes outside of a few goals. Pace, power etc.

BBD has absolutely nothing going for him. Too slow to be a winger, doesn't appear to be a genuine number 9, appalling first touch etc.

…except he plays though the middle quite a lot. Just saying. [MLG mode off]

Im sure if we went on the Ipswich , Leicester, Birmingham etc sites, they will be saying 'why didnt we go for him'.....not

Cant write him off yet but uninspiring. Our transfer windows are about as exciting on your birthday as you hear the letterbox go and it is a brouchere from the local Jehovah Witness laying on the rug

Nah. You're supposed to say what a smart and astute signing he is even if that later turns out to be complete bollpcks and saints struggle to offload him in a couple of years time.

Make this make sense. Why would anyone say it's a "smart and astute" signing, "even if" it's not smart and astute?

Thats my exact point. Really weird that some people find it inconceivable that you could find a signing to be not that good initially prior to actually watchibg them for yourself. That means the opinion can change once more evidence becomes available. It's entirely non controversial and normal to have an opinion of a signing when they first sign. It's what web forums are for.

How dare you make an initial opinion without seeing him play yourself for us. That's just not what a forum is for.

Aren’t people just having different opinions?

Of course. Anyone is free to think this is a decent signing even though I disagree at this point. The issue I have is when people act all superior because someone has dared to be less than positive about a new signing before seeing them play. There's nothing wrong with having an initial reaction to a signing. Seeing lens fans pissing themselves laughing and begging to be rid of him is not something that fills me with confidence.

Remember when we signed Mads Roerslev? That morning we were linked with a young Chelsea right back, Will Still mentioned him in the press conference and then BANG we get Mads out of nowhere.

Maybe something similar is happening here....

They won't be laughing when they find out we've swapped him for BBD.

I assume he is being funny, if not then I will light a candle for him

Are we still preparing another bid for Azaz?

what exactly are we preparing…the font in the text, the colour?

I suspect we are hoping that somebody else comes in and pips us, so that they can say we tried.

One of the plusses I saw with us coming down was that we could play Billy Big boll@@@ , seems Bily has been castrated

You really need to reread your own post. No one who is posting positively about a potential signing has said they will be supportive "even if" it all turns to crap. Most normal people's opinions change when the facts change.

Azaz, Guilavogui, a young loan wide-player and a loan central midfielder.

I would guess that is how our incomings will go for the remainder of the window.

Long (the GK from Norwich) is a loan. Is there a limit on the number of loan slots we have? I think in the PL it was 2

And suddenly we have a bid accepted for Azaz.

The social media team have a boner for not being caught by Fabrizio 👀

Blimey that's a lot of money for Azaz but that's a good signing for this league with goals and assists. But of concern about going missing in games from Boro fans but if he contributes the same amount that he did there I can't see us being unhappy.

Last I remember there was no limit on loan signings to the club but a maximum of 5 in a match day squad

To any saying about loan signings. We are not loaning players unless a last resort. Have repeated this all Summer. We do not want another THB/Downes situation next season.

Are you in the know as you have stated it as fact or is it just an opinion?

Teasing I suggest lol

A job to tell on here. Whilst this forum has never been a fountain of positivity. the last few days have been the most negative I have ever known it in all the years that I have been on it.....#the gingerjuric......after just 4 games, one of which we lost, and a new manager with a squad incomplete because of the window being still open for a few more days.
