If Still is now considering Aribo to return to the matchday squad then he has clearly run out of ideas and is showing he has little faith in the group of players that Spors/he brought in.

To be fair, he’s running out of options - Charles injured, Sesay injured, Downes complete fucking cunt, Stephens can’t play there, Bragg’s mum has said he can’t play unless he’s done his homework and put his washing away.

Howling at that last bit 🤣

Shea Charles has done ok and Casper Jander has started brightly since signing but other CMs are yet to do anything significant this season, I’d say it’s up for grabs.

Aribo was very good last time round in the Championship.

Aribo will come in and do very well in CM I have no doubt.

If he can't do a job in this league, there is something seriously odd going on.

Hopefully they're all back soon because Aribo will be off to the AFCON next month.

There's always "Mr Organisation" Ange. At least we'd have a shot at the JPT or whatever that's called now - but only in his second season.

Surely a good manager would have used Aribo from the start?

He has little time left on his contract and older. So there’s an argument it’s better to build a team for the Prem with younger players. BUT - Sports Republic also get the benefit of adding value to those young players and so will sell them off before we really see the benefit…

Also if the plan was to sell him he might have done easier training for the last few weeks of preseason to avoid a badly timed injury. So might not have been fully up to speed fitness wise.

Given the type of chances we've been missing already i'm not sure what type of chances you're expecting.

67 shots on goal in the last 3 games and 2 goals scored. How many chances do you want us to create!?

What a load of crap, you’re telling me even if we converted 1/4 of those  we’d have scored 16 goals in 3 games.

Having been to all 3 no way did we create that many, and no way enough to score 16 goals.

just proves that stats are a load of m well crap.

Rubbish argument if the teams like shit.

Need a balance of experience and youth. Decent managers can do that.

Yes, goal scoring has been poor but for the rest of it, I'm not seeing much progress in terms of what Still is trying to achieve.

The question was why didn't he start the season in the team? - not why hasn't he played recently

You can deny it all you like but we did have that many shots on goal.

You honestly believe we should have scored 67 goals then , or even 16 if we converted 1/4 of them in 3 ( three games)?

ok then if you say so, you keep living in your world and I’ll live in the real one thanks .

What? I have never once said that.

What I said was that the way we've set up and played has created more than enough chances to win the last three games, and it's the players in individual moments that are letting us down, whether defensive errors or missing chances.

Talk about spectacularly missing the point 🤣

But yeah, carry on living in the real world.

Simply not true. Blackburn were the better side.

Arma missed a couple of chances but they also did

Apart from the Swansea game, there has not been a match where we were the better team overall.

I do not like the way Still is hiding behind injuries as an excuse. He has petty much a full squad to pick from and we have been rubbish. Even throwing in a player who rolled his ankle, who has not featured all season anyway. He is a dead man walking, in my eyes.

He is definitely in the 'throwing up clatter' as d distraction phase

Expect we’ll end up letting them go before us leaving us with the leftover available managers to choose from.

Weirdly, the big two Scottish teams could provide two managers for underperforming Championship teams.

Rodgers back to Leicester and Martin to his former club. Just waiting for Hamilton Academicals to fire their manager before SR make it a triple

Martin back to Swansea or Norwich fine. But to us ? Big ‘Fuck Off’ to that.

For all his failings I’d stick withStill in preference to Lego.

Please just go, you waster.

win lose or draw, there is literally NOTHING to hang your hat on. November, and no definitive style of play. Just a mess, everywhere.

GO.

He has to go… I don’t know what his gameplan is ? What his identity is ?

Its just 11 men on the pitch for me, nothing else, I can’t see any evidence of any actual coaching, any motivation, any tactical plan

Say what you want about Martin, he was stubborn but he was a very good coach (ok it didn’t work) and his players knew what he wanted. Even Juric you could see what he wanted

I genuinely couldn’t tell you what our gameplan is

Its awful

I could be mistaken, but didn't Fellows get joint top assists for the league last year? And Azaz 5th most?

Neither were in the championship team of the year though..

I like both I think they are good signings.
Does being 1st or 5th in the assist table make you the best players in the league?
Let’s go to the prem last year to judge……most assists Salah so maybe that suggest yes…second most? Jacob Murphy.. good but one the best players in the prem? I reckon you could name 30 or 40 who you would rate higher?
Son is quite a way down the table… does that mean the Brentford, Villa and Newcastle players above him are better than him?

All I am saying is the manager may be rubbish, the team should 100% be higher than they are..but if I were allowed to pick a squad from the whole league would I pick many of our players? Hmmm not sure…

I don’t think the squad is as good as some seem to think it is.

Should have gone weeks ago.
Feel sorry for him, in a position well above his experience, back up coaches (including Nivea) that have been foisted on him, and piss poor recruitment.

But tactics and substitutions are his responsibility, and he hasn’t excelled in this area.

He will be gone tonight, but the news will not fill me with hope, just apathy

I have no belief that SR will be able to understand the circumstances
